  • Publication number: 20240115627
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to use of a Clostridium ghonii spore combined with pembrolizumab in cancer treatment. It is found for the first time that the Clostridium ghonii spore combined with pembrolizumab can significantly improve a curative effect of colon cancer and reduce a dose of the pembrolizumab, and thus is efficient and low-toxic. Oncolysis by Clostridium ghonii can affect immunogenicity of a tumor microenvironment (TME) by various ways, converts an immunosuppressive state of the TME into an immune-activated state, adjusts the immunosuppressive TME, and breaks an immune tolerance. An optimal combination of the Clostridium ghonii spore and the pembrolizumab thoroughly removes about 20% of mouse tumor tissues. A benefit range of patients with tumors treated by a PD-1 antibody is expanded. The combination even has an obvious curative effect on patients failed the treatment by the PD-1 antibody.

  • Patent number: 11948064
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products are provided for cleaning noisy data from unlabeled datasets using autoencoders. A method includes receiving training data including noisy samples and other samples. An autoencoder network is trained based on the training data to increase a first metric based on the noisy samples and to reduce a second metric based on the other samples. Unlabeled data including unlabeled samples is received. A plurality of third outputs is generated by the autoencoder network based on the plurality of unlabeled samples. For each respective unlabeled sample, a respective third metric is determined based on the respective unlabeled sample and a respective third output, and whether to label the respective unlabeled sample as noisy or clean is determined based on the respective third metric and a threshold. Each respective unlabeled sample determined to be labeled as noisy is cleaned.

  • Patent number: 11921229
Abstract: An apparatus, including processing unit (PU) cores and computer readable storage devices storing machine instructions for determining a distance between a target object and a radar sensor circuit. The PU cores receive a beat signal generated by the radar sensor circuit and compensate for a phase difference between the received beat signal and a reconstruction of the received beat signal to obtain a phase compensated beat signal. The phase compensated beat signal is then filtered to remove spurious reflections by demodulating the phase compensated beat signal using an estimated frequency of the phase compensated beat signal. The PU cores then apply a low pass filter to the demodulated phase compensated beat signal, resulting in a modified beat signal. The PU cores then determine the distance between the target object and the radar sensor circuit using the modified beat signal.

  • Patent number: 11920168
Abstract: The disclosure in some aspects relates to recombinant adeno-associated viruses having nuclease grafted to one or more capsid proteins. In some aspects, the disclosure relates to isolated AA V capsid proteins having terminally grafted nucleases and isolated nucleic acids encoding the same. Recent approaches to delivering nucleases to cells for gene editing have focused on delivering of expression vectors engineered to express the nucleases in target cells. However, these approaches have proved to be problematic in many instances due to genotoxicity resulting from to prolonged expression of gene editing system in vivo. To prevent such off-target genotoxicity due to prolonged presence of a gene editing system, several studies explored delivery of mRNA or protein instead of delivering the gene coding for the nucleases in cell culture.
