  • Publication number: 20170035659
Abstract: The current disclosure is directed to a container with a dispensing schedule. In one implementation, the container with a dispensing schedule comprises a bottle with a threaded neck and a complementarily threaded cap having a cylindrical rim and an internal schedule display. An indication on or within the internal schedule display is displayed through an aperture in the cap rim. Features included in the cap and schedule display interoperate to ensure that the displayed indication is advanced when the cap is removed from, and subsequently threaded onto, the bottle container. The displayed indication is relatively large and clear, to facilitate viewing by vision-impaired users, and the indication-advancement mechanism is robust and reliable. In addition, the cap and internal schedule display include features that allow the displayed indication to be set to a particular indication.

  • Patent number: 9531255
Abstract: A driver circuit for powering a load is disclosed. The driver circuit includes an input for receiving for connection to a source of AC power, and a rectifier for converting the AC power from the input into DC power. The driver circuit also include a voltage bus filter, a high-frequency oscillator for generating a high-frequency AC signal, a resonant driver, a feedback circuit, and a high-frequency DC rectifier. The voltage bus filter smoothens the DC power from the rectifier, and includes at least one capacitor. The resonant driver is in electrical communication with the high-frequency oscillator, and limits a current of the high-frequency AC signal and produces a limited output voltage based on the high-frequency AC signal. The feedback circuit is in electrical communication with the resonant driver and the voltage bus filter, and maintains a charge on the capacitor of the voltage bus filter.

  • Patent number: 9419537
Abstract: A driver circuit for powering a load is disclosed. The driver circuit includes an input for connection to a ballast, a rectifier, a switch, and a fault circuit. The rectifier converts AC power received from the input into DC power. The rectifier includes a rectifier input. The switch is electrically connected to the rectifier input. The switch is activated to create a short circuit at the rectifier inputs in response to receiving an activation signal. The fault circuit is electrically connected to the switch. The fault circuit generates the activation signal in response to detecting at least one of an over voltage, an over temperature, and an over current condition of the driver circuit.

  • Publication number: 20150099250
Abstract: Systems and methods for online assisted pre-intervention or “prevention” are described. A prevention system may provide the ability to initiate a prevention campaign in order to create a customized support forum for persons who may be afflicted by a harmful addiction. The prevention system can receive a request to initiate a campaign for a recipient from a host and facilitate the invitation of other participants to the campaign. Knowledge-based questionnaires may be dynamically generated for the host and participants, and a profile built for the recipient based on received responses. Customized messages may be generated by the prevention system using expert knowledge-based rules, and delivered to the recipient. The messages may be unique to the recipient based on the recipient's circumstances and relationship to the host and participants. Support services provided by the prevention system encourage the recipient to agree to accept help and provide action plan recommendations.
