  • Patent number: 11044257
Abstract: A technology is described for one-time access to a protected resource. In one example, a resource security API (Application Programming Interface) may receive a request for a protected resource. The request may be associated with a launch of a software container in a service provider environment to host a process associated with a customer account. The resource security API may identify a single-use token linked to the software container that allows the resource security API to provide the protected resource. The resource security API may send the protected resource to the software container in response to the request when the single-use token is identified, and the resource security API may disable the single-use token linked to the software container to prevent additional requests associated with the software container from accessing the protected resource.

  • Publication number: 20210178609
Abstract: A gripping device to grip and provide one or more utilities to a tool. The gripping device includes a body and fingers. One or more of the fingers are movable relative to the body for the gripping device to be movable between an open orientation and a closed orientation. In the open orientation, the fingers are spaced apart to be positioned on opposing sides of the tool. In the closed orientation, the fingers are movable to grip the tool. One or more of the fingers include utility connectors that extend through the finger. The utility connectors supply one or more utilities to the tool to operate the tool while being gripped by the fingers.

  • Publication number: 20210062949
Abstract: A utility coupler that includes a coupling unit and a tool unit that can be selectively engaged together. The coupling unit may include a body, a cam member, a handle, and one or more utility couplings. The tool unit may include a body, a latching pin, and one or more utility couplings. In operation, the coupling unit may be placed into a decoupled position with the handle in a first position. The coupling unit may be moved into proximity of the tool unit. The handle may be moved to a second position causing the cam member to engage with the latching pin and couple the coupling unit to the tool unit. The utility couplings engage together to pass the one or more utilities to the industrial equipment.

  • Patent number: 10922285
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for a distributed parallel processing database system that persists table data in memory to a distributed file system. A distributed parallel processing database system persists table data in memory to a distributed file system. A parameter of creating a database table specifies that data records in the database table and history of changes to the data records can be stored in memory as well as in the distributed file system. When the database table is populated or otherwise modified, data records and the history in memory are evicted to the distributed file system as log files and removed from memory. The log files can be designated as write-only, where the data records, once written, cannot be read by structured query language (SQL) queries, or as read-write, where the data records, once written, can be read by SQL queries.

  • Patent number: 10882655
Abstract: Embodiments of a trash bag are disclosed. In one embodiment, the trash bag includes a flexible bag body and one or more inflatable chambers that extend along the flexible bag body. The inflatable chambers may be configured to hold the flexible bag body upright and maintain the top bag opening in an open position when the inflatable chambers are inflated. In this manner, the inflatable chambers can provide sufficient structural integrity so that a trash can is not needed to use the trash bag.

  • Publication number: 20200410624
Abstract: The disclosed systems can regulate access to an online mode for a dynamic transportation matching system. For example, based on a provider efficiency parameter associated with the dynamic transportation matching system, the disclosed systems can prevent a transportation provider device from switching to the online mode within a geographic area. In addition, the disclosed systems can detect a pattern of behavior and, based on a comparison between the pattern of behavior and a behavioral threshold, cause a transportation provider device to switch from the online mode to an offline mode. Further, the disclosed systems can provide a map interface that indicates where a transportation provider device can switch from the offline mode to the online mode. Additionally, the disclosed systems can determine priorities associated with transportation provider devices and, based on the prioritization, selectively allow the transportation provider devices to switch from the offline mode to the online mode.
