  • Publication number: 20240217549
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, apparatuses, processes, and computer-readable media for a lightweight forward simulation for decision-making. For example, a computing device for decision making for operation of at least one vehicle can determine a plurality of prediction trajectories onto a path of a vehicle within a simulated scene over time at time steps. Each prediction trajectory of the plurality of prediction trajectories can include at least one position of the vehicle or at least one location of an agent vehicle of one or more agent vehicles that changes as a function of time. The computing device can further determine one or more reactions of the one or more agent vehicles based on at least the position of the vehicle and each respective reactivity model assigned to each agent vehicle. • Publication number: 20240220192
Abstract: Provided herein are system, apparatus, device, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for transmitting messages to a display device based on detected audio output from the display device. In a given embodiment, a digital media player can transmit a message to the display device to control the audio output of the speaker using a transmission protocol, and transmit a set of instructions to the remote control device to confirm the display device processed the message by determining whether an attribute associated with the audio output from the speaker is within a predetermined threshold. In response to receiving a message that an attribute associated with the audio output is within a predetermined threshold, the digital media player can determine that the display device is enabled to receive communication via the transmission protocol.

  • Patent number: 12013870
Abstract: Technology for routing queries in a system with a plurality of nodes (for example online analytical processing sub-systems) where each node has an associated replicated local database and a local latency value and replication velocity values. The workload balancing for incoming received queries among and between the plurality of nodes is based, at least in part, on consideration of latency values and/or replication velocity values for the various nodes. The best node to handle a given query is thereby selected and the query is routed to the selected node for response.

  • Patent number: 11995102
Abstract: In an approach, a processor receives a data manipulation request on a target database. A processor sends the data manipulation request to a source database. The source database attempts to persist a data manipulation action relating to the data manipulation request. Responsive to a successful attempt to persist the data manipulation action: the source database sends a log position of the data manipulation action to a data replication engine; a processor replicates the data manipulation request triggering the data manipulation action in the target database; and a processor confirms to the target database that the data manipulation action in the target database has been completed.

  • Publication number: 20240148994
Abstract: Systems and methods provide transferring of access to patient data between organizations. In some implementations, one or more servers, with various services (12, 14, 16, 18, 20), transfer access to patient data from a first to a second organization. The server(s) may generate a user interface; receive job input data via the interface; and generate a transfer job based on the job input data. The transfer job may include list data indicative of one or more patients. The server(s) may execute the generated transfer job. The executing iterates through the list data and communicates transfer commands to services of the server(s). Access to the patient data associated with the patient(s) of central database(s) indicated by the list data is transferred from the first organization to the second organization. The server(s) may generate, for a display on the user interface, transfer job status information concerning the status of the executing.

  • Patent number: 11960001
Abstract: The disclosed technology teaches testing an autonomous vehicle: shielding a GNSS receiving antenna of the vehicle from ambient GNSS signals while the vehicle is under test and supplanting the ambient GNSS signals with simulated GNSS signals. Testing includes using a GNSS signal generating system: receiving the ambient GNSS signals using an antenna of the system and determining a location and acceleration of the vehicle from the GNSS signals, accessing a model of an augmented environment that includes multi-pathing and obscuration of the GNSS signals along a test path, based on the determined location—generating the simulated GNSS signals to feed to the vehicle, in real time—simulating at least one constellation of GNSS satellite sources modified according to the augmented environment, based on the determined location, and feeding the simulated signals to a receiver in the vehicle, thereby supplanting ambient GNSS as the autonomous vehicle travels along the test path.

  • Patent number: 11947944
Abstract: A method of reporting on a software update performed on a network composed of at least a plurality of wireless devices. The method comprises, at a centralized network element: i) detecting properties of two or more wireless devices in the network, ii) reading the update to determine functions of the two or more devices which the updated is programmed to implement, and iii) receiving an update report reporting whether or not the software update was successfully installed in memory of the at least one wireless device; for each update reported to be successfully installed in iii), comparing the functions determined in ii) against the properties detected in i) to establish which functions are now enabled within the network, and which existing functions are now disabled due to the update; and creating and outputting to a user a customized report indicating the enabled and/or disabled functions.
