  • Patent number: 11247839
Abstract: An oversized actuator and actuator assembly for a plastic vessel (or container) configured to hold a product under pressure, such as, for example, a lotion, cream, spray, ointment, gel or foam. The oversized actuator and actuator assembly are configured to be attached to what is considered to be a common, standard-sized valve cup (typically about 1.0 to 1.5 inches across) fastened to a common or standard-sized neck portion for a plastic vessel. Therefore, the actuator and actuator assembly of the present invention does not require that the shoulder of the plastic vessel to which they are attached have specialized geometry molded into the shoulder or body portions of the plastic vessel in order to hold the actuator or actuator assembly in place on the plastic vessel.

  • Patent number: 11192700
Abstract: Child-resistant containers or packages having spinning collar cap assemblies are provided, as are methods for manufacturing such containers. In various embodiments, the child-resistant container includes a container body having an inner cavity, an opening to the inner cavity, and a container neck circumscribing the opening. A spinning collar is retained around the container neck and is rotatable relative thereto in at least a first rotational direction. The child-resistant container further includes an overcap, which is sized and shaped to enclose the opening when attached to the spinning collar. Through the provision of a suitable threaded interface the overcap can be (i) detached from the spinning collar by rotation of the overcap relative to the spinning collar in the first rotational direction and (ii) removably attached to the spinning collar by rotation of the overcap relative to the spinning collar in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction.

  • Publication number: 20210371173
Abstract: A child-resistant container includes a cap with an outer member moveable relative to the axis radially between a first position and a radially displaced position. The container also includes a container body with a neck that engages with an inner member of the cap. The container body has a projection that engages the outer member and limits rotational movement of the cap when the outer member is in the first position and the cap is contemporaneously twisted-off. The outer member bypasses the projection when the outer member is in the radially displaced position and the cap is contemporaneously twisted-off. The projection includes a receiving aperture that receives at least part of the outer member when the outer member is in the first position and the cap is contemporaneously twisted off.

  • Patent number: 11001189
Abstract: A quick-release, horizontal logistic track having a coupling mechanism that allows two such quick-release logistic tracks to interlock so as to effectively form a continuous track that varies in length as a section of track is added or removed from the series. Installed, the multiple sections of quick-release logistic track become one integrated track that is flush from end to end on the same sidewall. The quick-release logistic track has two integral couplings that consist of a male coupling and a female coupling on opposing ends enabling the male end of a newly installed track in the series to be coupled to a female end of a separate track that is already anchored in a vertical logistic post slot. As the newly installed track's male end is coupled to the anchored female end the newly installed track's opposing female end is then anchored to an adjacent vertical logistic post slot. This method is repeated until the desired length of quick-release logistic track is satisfied.

  • Publication number: 20210129221
Abstract: A method of forming a mated component pair includes forming a first geometry on a first mating surface of a first component and a complementary second geometry on a second mating surface of a second component. The first geometry and the second geometry can be determined from a geometric key associated with a component identifier, e.g., by inputting the geometric key into a mathematical algorithm or random number generator. When a replacement for the second component is needed, the component identifier may be obtained from the first component, the component identifier may be used to obtain the geometric key, and the geometric key may then be used to determine the second geometry. The second geometry may then be formed on the second component such the second component may properly mate with the mated first component.

  • Publication number: 20210069932
Abstract: An inference system for monitoring a cementitious mixture for three-dimensional printing is provided. The inference system includes an ambient condition sensor, a temperature sensor, a moisture sensor and an image capturing device. The inference system also includes a controller coupled to the ambient condition sensor, the temperature sensor, the moisture sensor, and the image capturing device. The controller receives sensed ambient conditions, a temperature signal, and a moisture content signal. The controller receives an image feed of a portion of a cementitious mixture. The controller also receives signals indicative of a motor speed and a motor torque associated with a mixing container. The controller builds a model and determines a material suitability of the cementitious mixture using the model based on the received ambient conditions, the temperature signal, the moisture content signal, the image feed, the motor speed, and the motor torque and determines one or more corrective actions.

  • Publication number: 20210047088
Abstract: A container body has a neck defining an opening with an axis. The neck includes a projection that projects radially away from the axis. A cap includes a wall that defines at least part of an exterior of the cap. The wall includes an aperture extending therethrough. The cap is removably attached to the neck and supported for movement on the neck between a first position and a second position. The wall is resiliently flexible for radial movement between a retained position and an unretained position with respect to the neck. In the retained position the projection retains the cap in the first position. The wall, in the unretained position, allows movement of the cap from the first position toward the second position.
