  • Patent number: 12235043
Abstract: The present disclosure provides, among other things, methods of drying porcine thyroid gland material and manufacturing DTE comprising vacuum drying porcine thyroid gland material in a way such that the temperature of the porcine thyroid gland material is maintained above a threshold temperature. Since applying vacuum, or reducing pressure, has a cooling effect on the porcine thyroid gland material, maintaining the porcine thyroid gland material above a threshold temperature can be achieved by gradually reducing pressure while simultaneously increasing the heat applied to the porcine thyroid gland material during the period of gradual pressure change. Such methods are advantageous in reducing bioburden (killing and impeding the growth of microorganisms) while maintaining therapeutic levels of thyroid hormones, as compared to certain methods of drying porcine thyroid gland material and/or manufacturing DTE known in the art.

  • Patent number: 12234799
Abstract: A system and method by which energy from ocean waves is converted into hydrogen, and that hydrogen is used to manifest electrical and mechanical energies by an energy consuming device. A portion of the generated electrical power is communicated to water electrolyzers which produce oxygen and hydrogen from water as gases. At least a portion of the generated hydrogen gas is transferred to a transportation ship via a hose-carrying, remotely operated (or otherwise unmanned) vehicle, and subsequently transferred to an energy-consuming module or infrastructure, where a portion of the hydrogen is consumed in order to manifest a generation of electrical energy, a mechanical motion, and/or a chemical reaction.

  • Patent number: 12232600
Abstract: A packaging arrangement for a wearable ornament, such as a pin-backed figurine that is supplied with a loop backer enabling the figurine to be coupled with a rope or chain, includes a post for display of the figurine using with the loop backer when not being worn. The figurine on the post may be snapped into a base, the base having a base top and base bottom that are separable from one another. A transparent cover encloses the figurine on the post atop the base, with a backing held in place behind the figurine in the packaging by retention tabs proximate to top corners of the transparent cover, by alignment ridges of the base top and by support posts inside the base bottom. The figurine may therefore be worn either through being pinned or on a rope or chain, or may be displayed either on just the post or on the post atop the base.

  • Patent number: 12236329
Abstract: An ore content prediction system is provided. The system receives structured geological data that is derived based on spatial geological information that is associated with an input region. The received structured geological data includes a plurality of multidimensional tensors that are derived from spatial geological information of a plurality of sub-regions of the input region. The spatial geological information includes one or more types of data. The system trains a prediction model to produce a prediction output based on an average grade of an ore of a target mineral type at a target region by using the received structured geological data. The system identifies a relationship of the structured geological data to the prediction output and determines a revised input region based on the identified relationship.

  • Patent number: 12224484
Abstract: Two shot knuckles include a first shot component and a second shot component. Both shot components are composed of different dielectric materials, where the first shot is composed of a relatively high strength structural material and the second is composed of a cosmetic material. The first shot component can physically couple two conductive sections together by interfacing with a coupling structure of that section. The first shot component includes second shot retaining regions and a cosmetic region. The second shot component occupies the cosmetic region and anchors itself to the first shot component using the second shot retaining regions. The second shot may be the only part of the two-shot knuckle visible to a user of an electronic device and can exhibit any desired color.
