  • Patent number: 12265762
Abstract: Described is a system for improving machine operation performance. The system assigns and displays, on an interface having multiple interactive controls, a performance score for each skill of a sequential task in a simulation of operation of a machine. Based on the performance scores, one or more skills to improve with targeted training are identified and displayed on the interface. A training scenario of skills to perform via the interactive controls in a subsequent simulation is recommended to improve the performance scores. Following performance of the training scenario in the subsequent simulation, the system assigns and displays, on the interface, a new performance score for each skill performed. The training scenario is adapted based on the new performance scores.

  • Patent number: 12265827
Abstract: In a very long instruction word (VLIW) central processing unit instructions are grouped into execute packets that execute in parallel. A constant may be specified or extended by bits in a constant extension instruction in the same execute packet. If an instruction includes an indication of constant extension, the decoder employs bits of a constant extension instruction to extend the constant of an immediate field. Two or more constant extension slots are permitted in each execute packet, each extending constants for a different predetermined subset of functional unit instructions. In an alternative embodiment, more than one functional unit may have constants extended from the same constant extension instruction employing the same extended bits. A long extended constant may be formed using the extension bits of two constant extension instructions.

  • Publication number: 20250103502
Abstract: In described examples, a processor system includes a processor core generating memory transactions, a lower level cache memory with a lower memory controller, and a higher level cache memory with a higher memory controller having a memory pipeline. The higher memory controller is connected to the lower memory controller by a bypass path that skips the memory pipeline. The higher memory controller: determines whether a memory transaction is a bypass write, which is a memory write request indicated not to result in a corresponding write being directed to the higher level cache memory; if the memory transaction is determined a bypass write, determines whether a memory transaction that prevents passing is in the memory pipeline; and if no transaction that prevents passing is determined to be in the memory pipeline, sends the memory transaction to the lower memory controller using the bypass path.

  • Publication number: 20250102474
Abstract: Systems and methods for characterizing a physical and solution properties of liquids are described. In some embodiments, an ultrasonic interrogation signal may be emitted into a liquid such as a solubilized protein solution. A resulting ultrasonic spectrum may be sensed and provided to a trained statistical model of the solution. The trained statistical model may then determine one or more properties of the liquid. In some embodiments, the trained statistical model determines a viscosity of the liquid and/or a solubilized protein concentration of the liquid. In some embodiments, a trained statistical classification model configured to classify the liquid based, for example, on its contents or properties is used to improve modeling accuracy.
