  • Patent number: 9693437
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling an X-ray imaging system are described. The systems and methods typically include a support arm with a first end and a second end. The first end of the support arm connects to an articulating arm assembly and the second end of the support arm pivotally attaches to an X-ray imaging arm at a pivot joint so that the pivot joint functions as an axis of orbital rotation for the X-ray imaging arm. One or more controls for the X-ray imaging system are disposed on the support arm for the X-ray imaging arm. The controls can therefore remain stationary while the X-ray imaging arm rotates orbitally. The support arm can include a single member or a double member and one or more controls can be disposed on each member of the support arm. Other embodiments are also described.

  • Publication number: 20170080309
Abstract: Removable and re-attachable grips design to allow simple, fast changing of grips on shaft. The present disclosure relates in general to a re-changeable or interchangeable grip particularly suited for golf whose attachment requires three basic securing movements. In the first movement, heel components of the grip are first positioned onto the shaft, by either rotational torque or downward pressure, which result in securing the upper, proximal portion of the gripping sleeve onto the shaft. In the second movement, once the grip is situated and secured into place on the shaft, the grip is centered on the shaft by fastening toe components at the lower, distal portion of the grip sleeve onto the shaft.

  • Publication number: 20160380428
Abstract: A voltage limiter includes first and second DC terminals connectable to a DC power transmission medium and ground, respectively. The voltage limiter further includes: (1) a current transmission path including two portions connected in series between the terminals and each including a non-linear resistive element; (2) a current bypass limb connected in parallel with the second portion and including at least one switching element; and (3) a control unit configured to control switching of the or each switching element to selectively switch the current bypass limb, during a fault condition, from a first mode to a second mode. In the first mode, current flows through the current bypass limb and bypasses the second current transmission path portion. In the second mode, current between the DC terminals is inhibited from flowing through the current bypass limb and thereby permits the current to flow through the second portion.
