  • Patent number: 11123153
Abstract: A method for ensuring hand hygiene compliance may include tracking dispensing of a plurality hand hygiene dispensers having hand sanitizer. Each hand hygiene dispenser can be associated with an individual user. A processor may determine dispensing rates of the plurality of hand hygiene dispensers for a plurality of predetermined time periods and each of the plurality of the hand hygiene dispensers is identified with an individual user. The average dispensing rate can be calculated taking a predetermined number of highest dispensing rates out of the plurality of predetermined time periods. The rates can be displayed to the users, and the users can be notified of proper hand hygiene compliance or if the average dispensing rate falls below a target threshold rate.

  • Patent number: 11035077
Abstract: A method of making a fibrous sheet. The method includes forming a nascent web from an aqueous solution of papermaking fibers, dewatering the nascent web to form a dewatered web having a consistency from about ten percent solids to about seventy percent solids, moving the dewatered web on a transfer surface, and transferring the dewatered web from the transfer surface to a molding roll at a molding zone. The molding roll includes an exterior and a patterned surface on the exterior of the molding roll. Papermaking fibers of the dewatered web are redistributed on the patterned surface in order to form a molded paper web. The method also includes transferring the molded paper web to a drying section and drying the molded paper web in the drying section to form a fibrous sheet.

  • Publication number: 20210097719
Abstract: A method for aligning and merging contents from multiple collaborative workstations. Collaborative workstations are multiple workstations that contribute respective contents to be combined into a single computer-generated output. The content generated from each collaborative workstation is the collaborative content. Individual collaborative content is created from each workstation by a user drawing on a piece of paper that is placed on a workspace surface of the workstation. Collaborative contents contributed by multiple workstations are aligned such that a combined product (i.e., a single computer-generated output) including both virtual and physical content appears to be collaboratively drawn by multiple users on a single piece of paper.

  • Patent number: 10830286
Abstract: A transmission includes a clutch configured to selectively couple a clutch hub to a clutch housing. The clutch hub includes a channel to provide oil from a central passageway to remove heat from a clutch pack. The oil runs along a disk of the clutch hub to a perforated annular ring of the clutch hub, then through the perforations to the clutch pack. An oil deflector limits the flow of oil at low clutch hub speeds. The deflector is mounted to the clutch hub disk to create a flow restriction. At low speeds, the oil builds up in a reservoir radially inside the restriction and then spills over a dam and is directed away from the clutch pack by a conical surface. The reduced oil flow at low speeds reduces parasitic loss. At higher speeds, centrifugal forces increase the flow rate.

  • Publication number: 20200274449
Abstract: The present embodiments allow multiphase buck controllers to be able to detect Power-on-Reset (POR) automatically and subsequently reboot the system and reconfigure the system as a single or multi-rail system. Some embodiments use an onboard bus that can communicate between controllers. In these and other embodiments, the system is able to recover automatically from a power failure afflicting any or all of the controllers. Embodiments are applicable to flexible plug-and-play modular digital buck regulation applications.

  • Patent number: 10674708
Abstract: A horse safety assembly includes a blanket that is draped over an animal. The blanket is comprised of an electrically conductive material. An insulator is coupled to the blanket and the insulator rests on the animal when the blanket is positioned on the animal. The insulator is comprised of an electrically insulating material. A plurality of straps is provided and each of the straps is coupled to the blanket. Each of the straps is selectively matable to each other to retain the blanket on the animal. A shock unit is coupled to the blanket and the shock unit is in electrical communication with the blanket. The shock unit delivers an electrical shock to an attacker when the attacker attacks the animal. In this way the attacker is repelled from the animal.

  • Patent number: 10316901
Abstract: According to one or more embodiments, a clutch pack includes a first set of clutch plates arranged in an alternating configuration with a second set of clutch plates. The first set of clutch plates has a plurality of friction pads made of friction material and defining channels in the friction material. The channels are configured to allow lubricant to flow between the friction pads. Each of the friction pads defines a groove in the friction pad. The groove is disconnected from the channels. The groove thereby creates a flow induced high pressure region forcing the first set of clutch plates to a center between the second set of clutch plates.

  • Patent number: 10247256
Abstract: A clutch for an automatic transmission includes a clutch pack having a first set of friction disks interleaved with a second set of friction disks. The clutch further includes an annulus having an outer surface connected to the first friction disks and an inner surface. The annulus defines oil holes extending from the inner surface to the outer surface to permit oil to flow from the inner surface to the clutch pack. Air passageways are defined in the annulus and extend through the annulus permitting air to flow from the inner surface to the clutch pack to reduce drag losses between the first and second sets of disks. Each of the air passageways have an entrance that is radially inboard of an entrance of each of the oil holes.
