    Abstract: In many computing scenarios, multiple users share a display to view and/or interact with content. Typically, one user provides input that interacts with the content; a second user can interact with the view only if the first user cedes control. Some interfaces permit split views, but typically support only a single input device that manipulates both panes. In the present disclosure, when a second user desires a different view of content during the first user's interaction, the device inserts a second view of the content into the display. Each view is associated with and manipulated by a particular user (e.g., via input devices associated with individual users) without altering the views of other users. The device may automatically manage the concurrent views, such as positioning and resizing; reflecting each user's perspective in other users' views; merging content changes; and terminating a view due to idleness or merging with another view.

The network device may then map received IP network traffic into serial protocol commands on the serial network for a destination serial endpoint having an allocated IP address corresponding to a destination IP address of the received IP network traffic, and may also bridge data present on the serial network from a sourcing serial endpoint into an IP message on the IP network with an indication of a corresponding allocated IP address of the sourcing serial endpoint, accordingly.

    Abstract: A filter formed essentially from a staple fiber is provided. A nonwoven staple fiber is compressed in to a mat or sheet of selected porosity. The mat or sheet does not include a binder or bicomponent fibers. The staple fibers may be heat treated. The sheet is formed into a selected geometric shape and the staple fibers are thermally fused to bind the staple fibers into a porous filter element. The preferred shape is a helically wound tube or plural sheets, each sheet being self-overlapped and compressed to overlap another sheet. Each sheet is preferably heated and compressed individually and the sheets may be selected to have different porosities and densities.

By setting-up base stations in advance of service requests, service vehicles may reach disabled vehicles within a predetermined period of time.

The controller can include instructions to start a shut-off timer when the ground path connection is completed for a non-zero period of time less than a threshold time period and instructions to reset the shut-off timer when the controller receives a control signal from a wireless remote control prior to the shut-off timer expiring. The controller can also include instructions to turn off the controller when the shut-off timer expires prior to receiving a control signal from the remote control or when the ground path is subsequently completed.
