  • Publication number: 20180235122
Abstract: This invention is a new and distinct sweet cherry tree variety denominated ‘IFG Cher-three’. The new sweet cherry tree is characterized by producing medium sized dark red fruits having reniform shape. Fruits ripen early about three to five days ahead of the ‘Brooks’ variety. The ‘IFG Cher-three’ has very firm, medium acid fruit with a good cherry flavor. Fruits are tolerant of rain induced cracking and high temperature induced double fruit. The tree has a low chilling requirement slightly lower than the ‘Brooks’ variety.

  • Publication number: 20180235123
Abstract: This invention is a new and distinct sweet cherry tree variety denominated ‘IFG Cher-four’. The new sweet cherry is characterized by producing medium size blushed fruits having flat-round shape. Fruits ripen early about thirteen to seventeen days ahead of the ‘Rainier’ variety. The ‘IFG Cher-four’ has medium firm, medium acid fruit with a good cherry flavor. Fruits are tolerant of rain induced cracking. The tree has a low chilling requirement, about 300 to 400 chill hours.

  • Publication number: 20180220561
Abstract: This invention is a new and distinct sweet cherry tree variety denominated ‘IFG Cher-two’. The new sweet cherry tree is characterized by producing large dark red fruits having broad shoulders and flat to round base. Fruits ripen early about three to five days ahead of the ‘Brooks’ variety. The ‘IFG Cher-two’ has medium firm, medium acid fruit with a good cherry flavor. The tree has a medium low chilling requirement slightly lower than the ‘Brooks’ variety. It produces fewer doubled and spurred fruits as compared to the ‘Brooks’ variety in high summer temperature regions.

  • Patent number: 10001216
Abstract: A metal end cap seal for sealing against resent invention relates to seals within a fluid system. The metal end caps of the seal include protrusions or nibs on the terminal ends of the caps, providing for reduced friction during installation and use. The seal may also include a base elastomer and an insert elastomer, the base elastomer and insert elastomer having different material properties from one another. The insert elastomer is selected to reduce friction with a sealing surface.

  • Patent number: 9549542
Abstract: The invention relates to a bed bug detection device (10) comprising a refuge (16) which elicits a taxis response from bed bugs and a non-trapping indicator surface (18), on which the bed bugs may leave indicators of their presence, such as faecal matter or cast skins. The refuge is positioned in close proximity to said non-trapping indicator surface such that the bed bugs can leave an indicator of their presence as they travel across the indicator surface on their way to or from the refuge. Preferably the non-trapping indicator surface takes the form of a skirt which surrounds a refuge made of corrugated paper. The invention also provides a passive method of detecting the presence of bed bugs without their capture by detecting the presence of indicators rather than the bed bugs per se.

  • Patent number: 9500046
Abstract: The riser system of the present invention includes an external production riser for floating structures with interfaces to the dry and subsea wellheads, internal tieback riser with a special lower overshot/slipping connector for elevated temperatures. The seals can be metallic and/or non-metallic dynamic seals. Special centralizing pipe connectors and a special subsea wellhead tubing hanger are also included. This riser system avoids the penalty of pipe within pipe differential thermal growth and the resulting unwanted effects on the floating structure. This is accomplished by allowing an overshot sealing slipping connector to swallow an expanding polished rod as thermal conditions cause pipe elongation axially. When elevated temperatures fall to ambient the opposite occurs as the pipe shrinks axially. Alternatively, a system is possible where a two pipe drilling riser is needed. The internal pipe in this case would be an inner riser rather than a tubing string.

  • Publication number: 20160326823
Abstract: An offshore well system for a subsea well. The system includes a floating platform, an external riser and an internal riser nested within the external riser. A external riser tension device tensions the external riser. The drilling system also includes a surface wellhead system that includes a wellhead, a collet, and a flange assembly. The wellhead, collet, and flange assembly are assembled to establish a common bore for receiving the top of the internal riser. A gasket located between the top of the internal riser and an inner shoulder of the flange assembly seals between the wellhead system and the top of the internal riser. The surface wellhead system also retains the internal riser in tension with the wellhead, the internal riser extending above the wellhead into the collet.

  • Patent number: PP27503
Abstract: A new and distinct plum tree variety, Prunus salicina, cv. ‘Suplumfortyseven’ is characterized by mid-season ripening fruit having a dark red flesh, nearly black skin, and a semi-free stone. The fruit is medium in sugar and has medium acidity. The fruit of the new variety ‘Suplumfortyseven’ is also abundant in juice and has a mildly sweet flavor. The new variety ripens before ‘Joanna Red’ (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 10,385) and harvest is later than for ‘Suplumeleven’ (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 4,902).
