  • Publication number: 20160084406
Abstract: Systems, methods, process, and article of manufacture regarding alignment orifice shields are provided. Shields can be configured to mate with leaching conduits in a certain configuration and can provide visual clues with regard to orientation as well as stability of installation for a pressurized or gravity-flow conduit. Methods of manufacture are also provided where manual or automated systems may be used for securing and adapting conduits to align with one or shields prior to or during installation of a leaching system.

  • Publication number: 20150041403
Abstract: Devices, processes, systems, and articles of manufacture adapted to treat contaminated fluid, such as organic wastewater, are described. These are described to include lifting contaminated fluids, treating contaminated fluids, or both, through gas application. In certain designs, gas, such as pressurized air, may be used to lift contaminated fluids, such as organic wastewater (i.e., water having contaminating organics of some kind, e.g. residential septic wastewater). In certain designs, gas, such as pressurized air, may also be used to treat fluids interfacing with the gas.

  • Patent number: 8746224
Abstract: An arrow rest for a bow, according to various embodiments, comprises (1) an arrow rest mount, (2) an arrow rest base that is disposed adjacent the arrow rest mount, (3) a first arrow support that is disposed adjacent a top surface of said arrow rest base and that is defined by a first base potion with a first ramped face and a first angled top portion, and (4) a second arrow support that is disposed adjacent a top surface of said arrow rest base and that is defined by a second base potion with a second ramped face and a second angled top portion. The first and second arrow supports are adapted to rotate to exert opposing lateral forces on an arrow at substantially the same time that facilitate the movement of the arrow up the first and second ramped faces and into a ready to fire position.

  • Patent number: 8617390
Abstract: Wastewater system design, installation, maintenance and use are described and provided. In embodiments, design, installation, and maintenance of pressure gradients in a septic system serve to transport treatment tank gases, or other gases, downstream, towards or into a leach field, bio-filter, drain field, or other environment. Such transport may promote the displacement of gases or the remediation of gases.

  • Patent number: 7887383
Abstract: A safety seat for a child for use proximate a body of water is disclosed. The safety seat may be fixed with a vehicle, such as a boat, or used independently on a ground surface. A seat is adapted to hold the child in a seated position therein. A base engagement is fixed with a lower side of the seat and comprises a projection having therein a buoyant material in a top portion thereof. The base engagement further includes a weighted material, such as metal weights or the like, in a bottom portion thereof. A base has an open top end and is adapted to slidably receive the projection of the base engagement. If the base becomes submerged in the body of water, the seat and the base engagement slide out of the base, the weighted material maintaining the seat in an upright orientation above a surface of the water.
