  • Patent number: 11585939
Abstract: Techniques for transmitting global navigation satellite system (GNSS) correction data to a rover. GNSS signals are wirelessly received by a base station from one or more GNSS satellites. GNSS correction data is generated by the base station based on the GNSS signals. A beacon frame is formed by the base station to include a frame header, a frame body, and a frame check sequence (FCS). The frame body is formed to include the GNSS correction data. The beacon frame is wirelessly transmitted by the base station for receipt by the rover. The rover wirelessly receives the beacon frame. The GNSS correction data is extracted by the rover from the beacon frame. A geospatial position of the rover is calculated based on the GNSS correction data.

  • Patent number: 8499378
Abstract: A hollow pedestal bed end for a rise and fall patient's bed is made of reduced width to fold over the mattress frame and pass through a door opening. The inner faces of the paired bed ends each have a slot through which a mattress frame bracket projects. A wheeled carriage inside the bed end rides on an upright guide and the bracket projects from the guide. The rise and fall motion is supplied by a linear actuator whose small movements are multiplied by a third order lever. The frame is thus lifted by a pair of such pedestal ends.

  • Patent number: 8298972
Abstract: This invention relates to a high transmission low iron glass that includes boron oxide. The boron oxide, added to this low iron glass, has the effect of improving glass refining, homogeneity and quality (lower seed count) through its flux action and improves glass optical parameters of green and clear glass through the change in refractive index and surface tension. Boron oxide lends to broader and weaker absorption band of such transition element(s) as iron which additionally improves the transmittance of low iron clear glass in certain example embodiments of this invention. In certain example embodiments, the addition of boron oxide in certain quantities in advantageous in that it improves the chemical durability of the glass by decreasing the USPX (or USPXIII) value of the glass via suppression of the silica, sodium ions in the glass structure.
