  • Patent number: 7936666
Abstract: A virtual router spans a number of physical routing devices. A set of physical ports on one of the physical routing devices is logically represented as a trunk. A respective port priority value is associated with each of those ports, and a device priority value is associated with the physical routing device. If a port in the trunk is out-of-service, then the device priority value can be adjusted by the port priority value associated with the out-of-service port. A corrective action can be implemented if the device priority value fails to satisfy a condition. For example, the physical routing device may failover to another one of the physical routing devices spanned by the virtual router.

  • Publication number: 20100325280
Abstract: A network device includes a plurality of blades, each having a plurality of CPU cores that process requests received by the network device. Each blade further includes an accumulator circuit. Each accumulator circuit periodically aggregates the local counter values of the CPU cores of the corresponding blade. One accumulator circuit is designated as a master, and the other accumulator circuit(s) are designated as slave(s). The slave accumulator circuits transmit their aggregated local counter values to the master accumulator circuit. The master accumulator circuit aggregates the sets of aggregated local counter values to create a set of global counter values. The master accumulator circuit transmits the global counter values to a management processor (for display), to the CPU cores located on its corresponding blade, and to each of the slave accumulator circuits. Each slave accumulator circuit then transmits the global counter values to the CPU cores located on its corresponding blade.

  • Patent number: 7778531
Abstract: A disposable air freshener configured to be connected to a USB port of a computer or computer peripheral device. In one embodiment, the disposable air freshener comprises a casing fabricated from a plurality of sections that have generally the same shape. At least one of these sections is configured as scented cardboard. The disposable air freshener has a printed circuit board and a heating element electrically connected to the printed circuit board. A portion of the printed circuit board extends from the casing and is configured to be inserted into a USB port so that electrical power can be applied to the printed circuit board. The heating element generates heat when it receives electrical power from the printed circuit board. Thus, when electrical power is applied to the printed circuit board, the heating element generates heat which causes the scented cardboard to emit a pleasant scent or aroma. The casing of the air freshener can be configured to have almost any geometric shape, e.g.

  • Patent number: 7740768
Abstract: A method and apparatus for cleaning a wafer. The wafer is heated and moved to a processing station within the apparatus that has a platen either permanently in a platen down position or is transferable from a platen up position to the platen down position. The wafer is positioned over the platen so as not to contact the platen and provide a gap between the platen and wafer. The gap may be generated by positioning the platen in a platen down position. A plasma flows into the gap to enable the simultaneous removal of material from the wafer front side, backside and edges. The apparatus may include a single processing station having the gap residing therein, or the apparatus may include a plurality of processing stations, each capable of forming the gap therein for simultaneously removing additional material from the wafer front side, backside and edges.

  • Publication number: 20100041010
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of treatment of collagenous connective tissue removed from a donor for implant into a recipient which is re-habited or re-colonized by host cells without an immune rejection and inflammatory reaction. After removal from the donor the tissue is trimmed and thereafter soaked in a cold stabilizing solution having a temperature range of 4 to 10 degrees centigrade. The tissue is then soaked at a predetermined temperature in a polyglycol, salt, hydrogen peroxide, and phosphate buffer first solution of predetermined quantities and concentrations and of sufficient ionic strength to permit ground substances to dissociate such that the collagen fibers remain stable. The tissue is then soaked in an alcohol and water solution at a predetermined temperature for a sufficient period of time to remove the residue of the first solution.

  • Patent number: 7651725
Abstract: A method and apparatus for depositing a low dielectric constant film by reaction of an organo silane compound and an oxidizing gas. The oxidized organo silane film has excellent barrier properties for use as a liner or cap layer adjacent other dielectric layers. The oxidized organo silane film can also be used as an etch stop or an intermetal dielectric layer for fabricating dual damascene structures. The oxidized organo silane films also provide excellent adhesion between different dielectric layers. A preferred oxidized organo silane film is produced by reaction of methyl silane, CH3SiH3, and N2O.

  • Patent number: 7560377
Abstract: A method and apparatus for depositing a low dielectric constant film by reaction of an organosilicon compound and an oxidizing gas comprising carbon at a constant RF power level. Dissociation of the oxidizing gas can be increased prior to mixing with the organosilicon compound, preferably within a separate microwave chamber, to assist in controlling the carbon content of the deposited film. The oxidized organosilane or organosiloxane film has good barrier properties for use as a liner or cap layer adjacent other dielectric layers. The oxidized organosilane or organosiloxane film may also be used as an etch stop and an intermetal dielectric layer for fabricating dual damascene structures. The oxidized organosilane or organosiloxane films also provide excellent adhesion between different dielectric layers.

  • Patent number: 7529307
Abstract: An interleaver and scheme for interleaving in which highly correlated bits are maximally separated. The scheme involves interleaving a set of bits to be delivered to a modulation system that utilizes a quantity of N carrier frequencies. A first block of N consecutive bits is assigned to each of N bins, on a one-bit-per-one-bin basis. The aforementioned assignment proceeds in a particular sequence. A second block of N consecutive bits is assigned to each of the N bins, on a one-bit-per-one-bin basis. The second block is assigned in the same sequence the first block was assigned. The second block is consecutive to the first block.

  • Publication number: 20090053901
Abstract: Plasma is generated using elemental hydrogen, a weak oxidizing agent, and a fluorine containing gas. An inert gas is introduced to the plasma downstream of the plasma source and upstream of a showerhead that directs gas mixture into the reaction chamber where the mixture reacts with the high-dose implant resist. The process removes both the crust and bulk resist layers at a high strip rate, and leaves the work piece surface substantially residue free with low silicon loss.
