  • Publication number: 20110264290
Abstract: A thermostat capable of receiving signals transmitted by a utility provider communicating a usage rate schedule or a request for a load curtailment period, and controlling one or more systems based on the information communicated by the utility. The thermostat changes the set point for each system to the stored predetermined control set point corresponding to the current usage rate schedule period or the curtailment mode period when requested. The thermostat is further capable of discontinuing operation of one or more systems for a minimum predetermined time period during following a request for a load curtailment period.

  • Patent number: 7799997
Abstract: Provided herein are flexible, low friction innerduct structures configured to contain at least one cable within a conduit. The innerduct structures, or conduit inserts, include one or more strip-shaped panels of flexible material that are joined to define at least one channel through which a cable can extend. The innerduct structures preferably are formed from a woven textile fabric having warp yarns that are monofilaments and fill yarns that are an alternating pattern of monofilament yarns and multifilament yarns. Such construction increases the flexibility of the fabric, as compared to previous innerduct fabrics, resulting in a reduction of the pulling force required to draw the cable through the innerduct and into position.

  • Publication number: 20090300536
Abstract: Navigation between a plurality of property sheets on a display of a mobile electronic device, each of the property sheets having a tab index and a layout defining a plurality of elements. One of the property sheets is a displayed property sheet and one of the elements is a current active element. Navigation includes (i) storing the tab index of the displayed property sheet as a current tab index; (ii) detecting a soft key event; regardless of which of the elements is a current active element, (iii) modifying the current tab index based on a soft key identifier of the soft key event to create an updated tab index; and (iv) displaying another property sheet of the plurality of property sheets on the display, the another property sheet having a tab index equal to the updated tab index.

  • Publication number: 20070277120
Abstract: Prompting user confirmation of an action in a display window on a display of a mobile electronic device including displaying a pair of soft key icons, receiving a request to initiate an action from a user and displaying a confirmation message to confirm that a user wishes to proceed with the action. When the confirmation message is displayed, the pair of soft key icons are modified to create a pair of updated soft key icons. The receiving of the request may include detection of a soft key event. The updated soft key icons provide a first response and a second response to the confirmation message for selection by the user. The soft key icons and updated soft key icons may be displayed at the bottom portion of the display in a manner that does not obstruct the display window.

  • Patent number: 7174074
Abstract: A flexible innerduct structure is configured to contain a cable within a conduit. The innerduct structure includes a pair of adjacent strip-shaped layers of flexible material that are joined along their longitudinal edges to define a channel through which the cable can extend longitudinally through the innerduct structure between the layers. The adjacent layers have differing widths between their longitudinal edges, whereby the wider layer bulges away from the narrower layer to impart an open configuration to the channel. Other features of the innerduct structure relate to the material of which it is formed. Such features includes the structure of the material, such as a woven structure, and further include properties such as melting point, tensile strength, elongation, coefficient of friction, crimp resistance and compression recovery.
