Abstract: A planar display assembly is provided with a planar display pane. A frame is provided with a dado sized to receive the planar display pane. A plurality of retainers mounts to the frame about an inner periphery of the frame to retain the planar display pane within the frame. At least one of the plurality of retainers is elastically deformable to deform during installation of the planar display into the frame, and to expand to retain the planar display pane within the frame. A plurality of apertures or a channel may be formed in the frame about the dado. The plurality of retainers may mount to the frame within the plurality of apertures or the channel of the frame to retain the planar display pane within the frame.

Abstract: A back plate assembly for home hardware is provided with a base and an attachment. The base includes at least one mount aperture and is adapted to be mounted to a support surface. The base defines a receptacle, a through-hole, a pair of grooves disposed at an outer edge of the through-hole, and a pair of ledges offset from an inner edge of the through-hole. The attachment includes a lock member with a pair of lock features and a connector member sized for insertion between the pair of ledges when the attachment is oriented in a first radial position. Each of the pair of lock features is positioned on the attachment for insertion within one of the grooves and the connector member is sized to rest upon the ledges when the connector member extends through the through-hole and the attachment is rotated to a second radial position.

A handle is mounted to the base. A plurality of projections extends from a bottom surface of the base to rest upon an underlying support surface and to reduce friction between the packaging assembly and the underlying support surface. The base includes a box with an opening formed in opposed surfaces of the box to expose a portion of the at least one shower door glass pane.

A metal bracket is adapted to be mounted to the upright support surface. The bracket has at least one enclosed cleat to receive two of the second fasteners.

A reversible dry adhesive is spread across an application surface of the flexible substrate to mount the hardware assembly to a support surface. The flexible substrate permits compliance between the reversible dry adhesive and the rigid hardware component to minimize nonconformance of the reversible dry adhesive upon the support surface. A method of installing the hardware assembly provides a flexible substrate with a rigid hardware component upon one side of the flexible substrate, and a reversible dry adhesive upon another side of the flexible substrate. The rigid hardware component is pressed towards a support surface to engage the reversible dry adhesive with the support surface while deforming the flexible substrate to minimize nonconformance of the reversible dry adhesive and the support surface.

The back panel, the front panel, and the inside panel are arranged with one another to fold about the corner portion of the frame and for the inside panel to extend through a frame opening such that the corner portion of the frame is covered by at least one of the back panel and the front panel. The inside panel tab is received within the inside panel tab slot to secure the back panel to the inside panel without an additional fastener.
