  • Patent number: 10408467
Abstract: A home cooking appliance includes a housing, a cooking compartment in the housing, a flue in the housing and in fluid communication with the cooking compartment for exhausting flue gases from the cooking compartment, an exhaust outlet for exhausting the flue gases from the housing, and a flue boundary connecting the flue and the exhaust outlet, the flue boundary separating flue gases from cooling air flowing through the housing and preventing dilution of flue gases with cooling air. The housing includes a cooling rough-in box having a cooling air flow channel for cooling the rear wall of the flue boundary. The cooling rough-in box includes an opening permitting the cooling air to be drawn into the cooling air flow channel from an exterior of the housing by convection owing to heat on the rear wall of the flue boundary.

  • Patent number: 10394942
Abstract: Contextually placed chat-like annotations in an electronic record. Users can input successive time-stamped annotations at a selected location in an electronic record. The annotations are displayed chronologically in a discussion window, which is customizable by color, style, and location. The discussion window styles minimize clutter and distraction, thus providing for more effective review and collaboration. The discussion location is indicated by a discussion point icon, and can be displayed in a window of fixed sire with scrolling capability. A user can email the discussion window content to other users and request an alert, notifying the user of successive annotations. An annotation engine can reside on a server and receives user input and per functionality related to the annotations. The electronic record can reside on the server and is repeatedly updated to reflect current content relating to the electronic record and annotations.

  • Publication number: 20190245885
Abstract: Methods and corresponding systems for malicious message detection and processing are provided herein. According to example embodiments, a method includes detecting, via an intermediary node, a link included in a message, the link being associated with an unknown resource. The intermediary node may have a processor and a memory for storing executable instructions to perform the method. The example method further includes hashing a unique identifier for a recipient of the message; coupling the hashed identifier with the link to create an updated link, and replacing the link in the message with the updated link. The method may include causing forwarding of the updated message to a recipient. Clicking on or otherwise selecting the updated link by the one or more recipients of the message may be tracked. The method may include mapping the hashed identifier to the unique identifier of each of the one or more recipients.

  • Publication number: 20190226196
Abstract: The present technology relates generally to a platform and concrete composite slab system used as a building material. A platform, is formed from joined, substantially coplanar boards with connector plates partially embedded between the boards such that a portion of the connector plates extend above the platform's top surface. A reinforcing material (e.g., wire mesh and/or rebar) can be arranged on the prongs or other portion of the connector plates spaced above the platform and concrete is poured over the reinforcing material and allowed to cure, forming a reinforced concrete layer that encases the connector plates and reinforcing material. The connector plates act as standoffs and help to suspend the reinforcing material in the middle of the concrete layer to increase the strength of the reinforced concrete and to fixedly anchor and bind the concrete layer to the platform, so as to establish a composite action between the platform and the concrete.

  • Patent number: 10358868
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an embedded interconnecting drive system. The drive system is used to deploy and retract flexible, roll-up panels away from or onto a roller drum as the drum rotates on its longitudinal axis. In this invention, a plurality of cogs, each comprising a semi-tubular recess and tapered shaft, interact with each other to induce the flexible panel to move in concert with the roller drum as the roller drum rotates, preventing the flexible panel from unraveling on the drum. The cogs compel the flexible panel to deploy away and downward from the drum as it rotates deployingly, and to retract onto the roller drum as it rotates retractingly. This invention discloses details of the cog and a complimentary annular lock disc used to secure the cog to a flexible panel. Further, this invention discloses a plurality of embodiments of the embedded interconnecting drive system.
