Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for intelligent smoothing of 3D alternative reality applications for secondary 2D viewing. A computing device receives a first data set corresponding to a first position of an alternative reality viewing device. The computing device generates a 3D virtual environment for display on the alternative reality viewing device using the first data set, and a 2D rendering of the virtual environment for display on a display device using the first data set. The computing device receives a second data set corresponding to a second position of the alternative reality viewing device after movement of the alternative reality viewing device. The computing device determines whether a difference between the first data set and the second data set is above a threshold. The computing device updates the 2D rendering of the virtual environment on the display device using the second data set, when the difference is above the threshold value.

Abstract: A table assembly includes a tabletop member having a tabletop worksurface and a downwardly directed lower surface. A leg structure including first and second substantially vertical and spaced apart leg members is coupled to the lower surface for supporting the tabletop member. An elongated horizontal upper member extends between upper ends of the leg members. An elongated horizontal lower member below the tabletop member lower surface extends between and is joined to the leg members intermediate their upper and lower ends to form a gap with the upper member. A removable accessory bracket includes a substantially flat vertical member extending along a first plane and a lip member coupled to an upper end of the vertical member, the lip member extending along a second, substantially parallel plane spaced from the first plane and engaging the lower member to support the accessory bracket adjacent the outer surface of the lower member.

Abstract: A method of generating customizable goal representation is disclosed. A request from a user to view a goal representation is received. A flexible goal ontology is accessed that comprises one or more goal entities, one or more goal relationships between the goal entities, or one or more goal properties, the one or more goal properties including one or more metadata attributes relating to the one or more goal entities. A set of mapping rules is obtained that defines mappings between one or more goals. The set of mapping rules is evaluated to assemble a customized goal representation tailored to the user. The customized goal representation is updated based on a revaluation of the mapping rules affected by changes to the one or more goal entities, the one or more goal relationships, or the one or more properties.

Abstract: Systems and methods for digital integration of financial features between a user and a service provider is provided. For example, if a user device is registered with the service provider, the user device may receive an electronic notification (e.g., calendar entry) related to outstanding account operations. The user device may be able to complete the outstanding account operations by accessing the electronic notification and embedded financial information.

Abstract: A handheld light assembly for eradicating pathogens includes a housing. A processor and a lamp are disposed inside the housing. The lamp irradiates surfaces with disinfecting ultraviolet light having a peak wavelength of 222 nm filtered to restrict illumination to between 200 nm and 230 nm within an irradiation zone. A distance measuring system includes a secondary light source generating secondary light and a photodetector for measuring distance of the secondary light to a surface being irradiated by the lamp light being reflected from the surface to the photodetector. The secondary light source is offset at an angle from the lamp thereby projecting the light beam to a central area of the irradiation zone generated by the lamp. The photodetector signals the processor to calculate a vertical distance between the lamp and the central area of the irradiation zone on the surface being irradiated from an angular projection of the secondary light.

The databases are configured to store data corresponding to purchase history of a user, the purchase history including payment account information for a first transaction captured through a reader at a point-of-sale system at the time of the first transaction and an identifier associated with the first transaction. The computing system receives a machine-readable element having the identifier associated with the first transaction encoded therein, searches the databases to determine the payment account information associated with the identifier, generates a prompt requesting confirmation of adding the payment account information for the first transaction to a digital wallet, receives positive confirmation to the generated prompt, and populates the digital wallet with the payment account information.

Abstract: Techniques are discussed herein for detecting and measuring faults within vehicle drive systems. In various implementations, actuator feedback monitors and/or vehicle performance monitors are used individually or in combination to determine faults within acceleration systems, braking systems, and/or steering systems of a vehicle. Different monitors may use different algorithms, models, and input data from the vehicle during operation, to compare a predicted drive system output to a corresponding measured output. Additionally, monitors may include associated sets of disable conditions used to distinguish drive system faults from other driving conditions. The outputs from actuator feedback monitors, vehicle performance monitors, and disable conditions may be analyzed to detect drive system faults and control the vehicle to address the faults and control the safe operation of the vehicle.

Abstract: An optical assembly includes stacked planar lightwave circuit (PLC) members each having a plurality of waveguides in a respective plane, to provide optical connections to two-dimensional arrays of external optical waveguides (e.g., optical fiber cores), with one array including non-coplanar groups of waveguides having group members that are alternately arranged in a lateral direction. An optical assembly may provide optical connections between array of cores having a different pitch and/or orientation to serve as a fanout interface. Methods for fabricating an optical assembly are further provided.

Abstract: A nasal cannula interface is provided for supplying a gases flow to a patient comprising: a nasal cannula defining at least a portion of a gases flow path and comprising a body having a base portion and at least one prong extending from the base portion, the at least one prong being configured to direct the gases flow to an orifice of the patient, and one or more sensors configured to measure a parameter. The one or more sensors may comprise a pulse oximeter. The one or more sensors may be mounted on the nasal cannula body, or headgear to which the body is connector. The one or more sensors may be configured to be in contact with the face of the patient, and may be configured to be mounted in and/or substantially flush with, a cheek contacting portion of the interface.
