  • Patent number: 12049405
Abstract: An ink composition for additive manufacture of silica aerogel objects essentially consists of a gellable silica sol containing an admixture of 30 to 70 vol. % of a mesoporous silica powder in a base solvent. The mesoporous silica powder has a particle size range of 0.001 to 1 mm and a tap density of 30 to 200 kg/m3 and comprises at least 10% by weight of silica aerogel powder. The composition has a yield stress in the range of 30 to 3000 Pa and a viscosity of 5 to 150 Pa·s at a shear rate of 50 s-1. Furthermore, the composition has shear thinning properties defined as a reduction in viscosity by a factor between 10 and 103 for an increase in shear rate by a factor of 104 to 105. A method of additive manufacturing of a three-dimensional silica aerogel object by direct ink writing comprises providing such ink composition, forcing the same through a convergent nozzle, thereby forming a jet of the ink composition which is directed in such manner as to form a three-dimensional object by additive manufacturing.

  • Patent number: 9996666
Abstract: In one embodiment, a matching-engine system may receive a set of physician-selection parameters from an administrator. The physician-selection parameters may comprise a range of acceptable performance-scores and experience-scores for physicians. The matching-engine system may receive, from a user, a search query comprising a geographic location of the user, a preferred date and time for an appointment, and a user-specified symptom or a user-specified treatment. A first set of physicians may be determined based on a geographic location of each physician, a performance-score associated with the physician with respect to a base-concept associated with the search query, and an experience-score associated with the physician with respect to the base-concept. A second set of physicians is identified from the first set based on one or more physician preferences, the preferred date and time, and an indication of whether the physician is available at the preferred date and time.

  • Patent number: 9946839
Abstract: In one embodiment, a matching-engine system receives from a user a search query with a location of the user and a user-specified symptom or treatment. The matching-engine system determines a base-concept of a medical diagnosis or medical procedure based on the search query. The matching-engine system may identify a set of physicians to be recommended to the user based on factors relevant to the base-concept such as readmission rate, infection rate, average length-of-stay, relative invasiveness, and healthcare facility ratings. The matching-engine system may send a search-results page to the user listing the recommended physicians.

  • Publication number: 20100168210
Abstract: The invention provides cytokine modulators and methods for using the same to modulate cytokine production in monocyte lineage-derived cells. In particular, cytokine modulators of the invention selectively bind to a T-cell cytokine-inducing surface molecule (TCISM)-ligand of T lymphocytes or the corresponding TCISM-receptor of monocyte lineage-derived cells, thereby modulating cytokine production in monocyte lineage-derived cells.

  • Publication number: 20080089841
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the MRT representation of a blood vessel (A) and/or of the territory supplied by the blood vessel (A) by labeling the blood, which is guided by this blood vessel (A), by means of continuous arterial spin labeling (CASL), in a specified labeling plane (E). The position of the labeling plan (E) is varied with the provision that a specified location of the blood vessel (A) remains in the labeling plane (E). This enables, for example, a selective labeling of a blood vessel of interest to be saturated by varying the position of the labeling plane.
