  • Publication number: 20240407922
Abstract: The disclosure relates to transcatheter stented prosthesis delivery devices including a handle assembly connected to a shaft assembly on which a stented prosthesis is loaded and compressively retained with a plurality of elongate tension members. The delivery devices include a cutting assembly that can sever the elongate tension members after the stented prosthesis is expanded at a target site so that the delivery device can be withdrawn from the patient. Certain embodiments position the cutting assembly at least within the shaft assembly and others position the cutting assembly over the shaft assembly. Various disclosed cutting assemblies are actuated with the handle assembly or the like, which draw the tension members across the blade or vice versa.

  • Patent number: 12167524
Abstract: A microwave oven and a method of operating the same is provided herein. The method includes the steps of: sensing that a door of the microwave is in an open state; interrupting a power input to a generator power supply unit comprising a first converter, a first energy reserve, a second energy reserve located downstream from the first energy reserve, and a second converter located between the first and second energy reserves; detecting an input voltage; and disabling the second converter if the detected input voltage is less than a threshold voltage that is proportional to the detected input voltage, wherein disabling the second converter triggers the second energy reserve to discharge, and wherein the time necessary to discharge the second energy reserve is free of influence from the first energy reserve and is independent of the detected input voltage.

  • Publication number: 20240400355
Abstract: A modular block has lad wye plates configured on opposing sides of the block that carry the load from an axle fastener to load fasteners coupled to the eye. This configuration of the load wye plates enables the other components, including contact surface components such as the sheave, sheave wheel, side plates and bushings to be made of lower weight materials, such as polymers thereby increase the load to weight ratio of the modular block. Ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) is a preferred material for the contact components and high load capacities are realized with these polymeric components used in conjunction with the load wye plates. Also, the use of non-sparking polymeric or composite materials is required in some applications to prevent fire or combustion.

  • Patent number: 12144330
Abstract: A seine net assembly utilizes buoyant seine net purse rings that float above the leadline and therefore reduce the risk of the purse rings getting snagged on the bottom of the body of water. An exemplary buoyant purse ring may have a specific gravity less than 1.0 and preferably, between 0.08 and 0.96. It is desirable that the purse rings float but not be so buoyant that they cause the leadline and therefore the leadline end of the net to float. An exemplary purse ring is made out of a polymeric material such as polyethylene and most preferably ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). A polymeric purse ring may have a ring wall with a rectangular shape designed for durability and tighter packing. The width of the ring wall may be greater than the thickness.

  • Patent number: 12143476
Abstract: A method of data transfer from a tenant to a service provider comprises encrypting the data with a public key of a key pair generated by a secure device within the service provider system. The data thus cannot be accessed by the service provider during transmission. The data is generated with a corresponding access control list, which specifies that a valid certificate must be presented in order to grant a particular use of the data once stored. The tenant can thus retain control of the use of the data even though it has been transferred out of the tenant system. A method of controlling use of data securely stored in the service provider system comprises issuing a use certificate having an expiry time to the party requesting use of the data. The use certificate must be validated before use of the stored data is granted. This enables the tenant to grant use of the stored data for a limited time period.

  • Publication number: 20240366005
Abstract: A lid may include first and second openings disposed within a spout. The first opening may provide a first fluid pathway to a fluid disposed in an attached container and the second opening may provide a second fluid pathway to a fluid disposed in the container. The lid may also include a spout at least partially defined by an outer wall. First and second openings may be disposed within the spout and the openings may be at least partially defined by the outer wall of the spout. A conduit, such as a straw, may be coupled to an opening. If desired, a closure may be connected to the lid and the closure may selectively close one or more of the openings.

  • Patent number: 12130830
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that extract information from IMS log records to reduce the amount of data transmitted and input to an analysis engine. An example method includes writing IMS log records matching log types identified in an extraction list to a file within an IMS control region of a mainframe computer and outside of the IMS control region, and reading records from the file. For each record read, the method may also include extracting fields of interest from the log record based on fields of interest associated with the log type of the log record in the extraction list and a data-to-field mapping for the log type, converting the fields of interest to a predetermined format based on the data-to-field mapping, and writing at least one field of interest to an output file. The method may also include transmitting the output file to an analytics engine for processing.

  • Patent number: 12122457
Abstract: A transition connection for a space frame can comprise a connection pad defining a first end of the transition connection, a node defining a second end of the transition connection opposite the first end, a pair of ribs on opposite sides, a first concave portion on a first side of one of the ribs, and a second concave portion on a second side of the one of ribs. In a side elevational view of the transition connection, an acute angle is formed on a same side as the first and second concave portions. The transition connection, which can be a casting, can be part of a pair or set of transition connections separate and distinct from each other. The pair of transition connections can be mirror images of each other.

  • Publication number: 20240338982
Abstract: A method of updating a first device (e.g., one or more locking devices) to reflect information located on a second device (e.g., a server) is provided, where the first device and the second device cannot communicate directly with one another. The method may include employing a third untrusted device (e.g., a mobile device) temporarily as an intermediary between the first device and second device. The method may include receiving, at the first device and from a third device, a request for the first device to communicate with the third device. In response to determining that the third device is authorized to communicate with the first device, the first device may receive information from the third device that was provided by the second device. The first device may transmit at least one message to the third device that is to be provided to second device.
