  • Publication number: 20240114027
Abstract: A system for authenticating a medical device is described. The system receives a request from a medical device to access operations or data of an external service provider. The system determines whether the request received from the medical device is valid. When the request is valid, the system generates a token that is customized based on the external service provider identified in the request, and the system transfers the token to medical device, the token enabling the medical device to access the operations or data of the external service provider.

  • Patent number: 11938990
Abstract: This disclosure describes, in part, a mobile apparatus for identifying items. For instance, the mobile apparatus may include a frame, a basket that attaches to the frame, a tray that attaches to the frame, and a user-facing module that attaches to the frame. Weight sensors may be located beneath the basket and the tray in order to determine the weights of items added to the mobile apparatus. The user-facing module may include imaging devices, such as cameras, that the mobile apparatus uses to perform one or more functions. For example, the mobile apparatus may use the imaging devices to identify items placed within the basket, determine locations of the mobile apparatus within a facility, and/or the like. By including these components, the mobile apparatus is able to generate data that represents the items added to the mobile apparatus, the weights of the items, and the costs of the items.

  • Publication number: 20230174574
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a protein purification system and methods of making such a system. Specifically, the invention relates to a method of immobilizing an N-terminal intein segment to a solid support, the method comprising: exposing an N-terminal intein segment to a cognate folding partner under conditions that promote association between the N-terminal intein and the cognate folding partner; immobilizing the N-terminal intein to a solid support; subjecting the N-terminal intein to conditions that disrupt association between the N-terminal intein and the cognate folding partner; and washing the solid support to remove non-bound material, thereby immobilizing an N-terminal intein segment to a solid support.

  • Patent number: 10705938
Abstract: An improved method for telecommunication analysis and monitoring employing a logic analyzer device. The logic analyzer device provides a plurality of concurrent graphic depictions of different electronic signals under differing electronic protocols for signal error determination on a communications channel. Error source determination is enabled through the provided concurrent depiction of digital and analog signal characteristics in the differing protocols, including digital data packets, signal voltages and timing. Through this concurrent depiction the user can visually discern potential causation for electronic communication errors caused by non-continuous signal anomalies affecting one or more of the protocols.

  • Patent number: 10469648
Abstract: This document presents a system and method for defining and controlling lights, audio systems, and any other home automation device by connection with an exterior network access port. The exterior network access is accomplished by pairing all network capable devices with a known intermediate network maintained by a master control unit. After association with the known intermediate network, the exterior network SSID and passkey are provided to the master control unit and then transmitted to each network capable device. The network capable devices connect to the exterior network by replacing the intermediate SSID and passkey information with the exterior network information.

  • Patent number: 10176567
Abstract: A method for processing microscopy images captures, for each of a first microscopy slide and a second microscopy slide, a plurality of partial spectrum images under multiple optical configurations where each image captures a different portion of the spectrum of the slide. First and second partial spectrum images associated with different optical configuration are selected and used to reconstruct respectively a combined spectrum image of part of the first microscopy slide and a combined spectrum image of at least part of the second microscopy slide, thereby forming a first pair of partial spectrum images. The method determines a distortion map by aligning images derived from the first pair of the partial spectrum images.
