Patent number: 11962827Abstract: Systems and methods for generating and displaying a non-time bound content channel in a time-bound grid is provided. The system comprises receiving content data representing non-time bound content to be displayed in the time bound grid. The system generates the time bound grid, by creating, based on the content data, a non-time bound content channel. The non-time bound content channel displays one or more content objects representing the non-time bound content in the time bound grid. The system incorporates the non-time bound content channel with a plurality of time bound channels in the time bound grid. The system then causes display of the generated time bound grid on a viewing device of a user.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2021Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: OPENTV, INC.Inventors: Danielle Maslow Zimmerman, David Daniel Kempe, Crx K. Patent number: 11575521Abstract: In one example an apparatus comprises accelerator logic to pre-compute at least a portion of a message representative, hash logic to generate the message representative based on an input message, and signature logic to generate a signature to be transmitted in association with the message representative, the signature logic to apply a hash-based signature scheme to a private key to generate the signature comprising a public key, and determine whether the message representative satisfies a target threshold allocation of computational costs between a cost to generate the signature and a cost to verify the signature. Other examples may be described.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 2019Date of Patent: February 7, 2023Assignee: INTEL CORPORATIONInventors: Rafael Misoczki, Vikram Suresh, David Wheeler, Santosh Ghosh, Manoj Sastry

Patent number: 11567733Abstract: The disclosure relates to systems, methods and devices to provide race-condition true random number generator (TRNG) for soft intellectual property (IP) in field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). In an exemplary embodiment, a pair of long adder chains are raced against one another to complete a full cycle. Due to variances in the silicon, different chains will win each race at different times and thereby produce entropy. A calibration circuit can be used to set up the adder chains in an appropriate initial state to maximize the entropy produced. This structure has been found to be robust to layout changes, and the use of two such adder-chain-pairs reduces interference from other structures. Among others, the soft IP makes adding a robust TRNG to an FPGA much easier without concerns for how the structures are laid out or what other IP is nearby in the layout. The disclosed embodiments reduces the effort to add a TRNG to an FPGA design and improves the robustness of the TRNG making the design FIPS certifiable.Type: GrantFiled: April 15, 2020Date of Patent: January 31, 2023Assignee: INTEL CORPORATIONInventors: Yee Hui Lee, Boon Hong Oh, David Johnston, David Wheeler

Patent number: 11378576Abstract: Viruses and other bioagents are of high medical and biodefense concern and their detection at concentrations well below the threshold necessary to cause health hazards continues to be a challenge with respect to sensitivity, specificity, and selectivity. Ideally, assays for accurate and real time detection of viral agents and other bioagents would not necessitate any pre-processing of the analyte, which would make them applicable for example to bodily fluids (blood, sputum) and man-made as well as naturally occurring bodies of water (pools, rivers). We describe herein a robust biosensor that combines the sensitivity of surface acoustic waves (SAW) generated at a frequency of 325 MHz with the specificity provided by antibodies and other ligands for the detection of viral agents.Type: GrantFiled: February 15, 2019Date of Patent: July 5, 2022Assignees: UNM Rainforest Innovations, National Technology & Engineering Solutions of Sandia, LLCInventors: Richard S. Patent number: 11230090Abstract: In one or more embodiments, one or more systems, methods, and/or processes may place a first outer layer, a core layer, and a second outer layer in a mold; and may heat the mold to at least thirty degrees Celsius above a glass transition temperature (Tg) for a period of time. In one or more embodiments, the polycarbonate fibers may be between eight and ten deniers per filament. In one or more embodiments, the Tg may be no more than 105 degrees Celsius. In one or more embodiments, the one or more systems, methods, and/or processes may further allow the first outer layer, the core layer, and the second outer layer to cool below the Tg, after the period of time. For example, after the layers cool, a shear modulus of the core layer may be in a range of 0.9868 megapounds per square inch (msi) to 2.2730 msi.Type: GrantFiled: July 31, 2019Date of Patent: January 25, 2022Assignee: Dell Products L.P.Inventors: Nicholas Donald Abbatiello, David Wheeler Williams

Patent number: 11057207Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods of providing a trusted ownership re-key with attestation in a device. The device includes processor circuitry that incorporates TEE circuitry. The TEE circuitry generates an AAIK and encrypts the AAIK using HMAC. The TEE circuitry forms a first message using the HMAC, a public DAK assigned to the device, and a device signature. The TEE circuitry sends an encrypted first message to the manufacturer. The manufacturer validates the device based on the public DAK and generates a second message that includes the HMAC and a manufacturer signature. The encrypted second message is communicated to the TEE circuitry. Upon receipt the TEE circuitry validates the AAIK data in the second message against the most recent AAIK and generates a third message that includes the HMAC, the original AAIK, the RHK and the manufacturer attestation. The AAIK thus remains unknown to both the current owner and the manufacturer.Type: GrantFiled: December 28, 2018Date of Patent: July 6, 2021Assignee: Intel CorporationInventors: David Wheeler, Geoffrey Cooper

Patent number: 10578488Abstract: Disclosed herein are spectral imaging systems having an internally folded prism, which can have four different refracting surfaces. A first angle defines the spatial relationship between the first and second refracting surfaces. The first angle can have a range between 45-95 degrees. In some embodiments, the first angle can be 70 degrees. The spatial relationship of the third and fourth refracting surfaces can be defined by a second angle, which can be the same as the first angle. Finally, the spatial relationship of the second and third refracting surfaces can be defined by a third angle, which can have a range between 90-145 degrees. The prism index of refraction, the first, second, and third angles are selected such that TIR is achieved at two of the refracting surfaces. Additionally, these prism parameters are selected such that a 180 degrees fold of the optical path is achieved entirely within the prism.Type: GrantFiled: October 4, 2018Date of Patent: March 3, 2020Assignee: The Aerospace CorporationInventors: David Wheeler Warren, John A.
