  • Publication number: 20210261019
Abstract: An occupant or object sensing system in a vehicle includes electrical circuits for capacitive sensing and corresponding circuits shielding the sensing system from interference. A sensing circuit and a shielding circuit may be printed by screen printing with conductive ink on opposite sides of a non-conductive substrate. The substrate is a plastic film or other fabric that has an elastic memory structure that is resilient to stretching. The conductive inks used to print circuits onto the substrate have a similar resilience to stretching such that the substrate and the circuits thereon can be subject to deforming forces without breaking the printed circuits. The substrate may be covered with a carbon polymer layer to provide alternative conductive paths that enable fast recovery for conduction in the presence of any break in the printed conductive traces on the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20210158456
Abstract: A system may learn what parameters are required for an item in order to compute tax for the item based on preliminary data regarding the item and/or the transaction. The system may determine a classification code based on such preliminary data and use that classification code to search or query a database storing information indicative of parameters required to compute tax for items having such a classification code. The system may map the received preliminary data into the learned required parameters and determine whether there are any required parameters for which there has not been any preliminary data mapped into them. The system may prompt the customer (e.g., seller of the item) or other user for data values of such missing required parameters or otherwise obtain data values of such parameters in order to compute the tax for the item.

  • Patent number: 11014702
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device holding box flaps open and down along the box side walls, and allowing for secure box stacking. The device has two sides joined at a right angle at a junction. The device has an inside wall with two sections. The device has an outside wall with two sections. The inside and outside walls are joined with a rail, also having two sections. The inside wall is perpendicular to the rail, and the outside wall is divergent from the inside all relative to the rail. The inside wall, outside wall and rail define a cavity that can be slid onto a box to hold two flaps in an open position. A rim with two sections upstands from the rail. The rim is located on the middle of the rail so that a bottom of a stacked box is stacked in a secure manner.
