  • Publication number: 20200183358
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments relate to methods, mediums, and systems for associating information, including critical-to-quality (CTQ) information such as minimum or maximum part dimensions, with parts in a three-dimensional model of a product. The information may be identified by performing a failure mode effect analysis (FMEA) against the model. The information is stored with the model data (e.g., in the form of an annotation applied to a model feature corresponding to the part in question). The model data may be consulted by product lifecycle management (PLM) applications during various phases of the product's lifecycle. Among other possibilities, the information may be used to automatically generate regulatory compliance documentation, to ensure product quality standards are met during a manufacturing process, or to perform postproduction quality monitoring of the product.

  • Publication number: 20200175399
Abstract: A system for intelligently processing queries for cloud-based network file stores includes a file store that stores groups of documents that are associated with files, a non-transitory storage medium that stores instructions, and a processor. The processor may execute the instructions to receive a ticket based on a communication associated with a query to the file store, pull data for the ticket, check a sender of the communication, identify a file using the data, and/or analyze the communication using an artificial intelligence engine to generate a recommendation. The processor may monitor changes to the recommendation made before being sent in order to update the artificial intelligence engine for the changes.

  • Publication number: 20200175621
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, devices, and systems for facilitating data transactions, such as real estate transactions. Some embodiments disclose methods for determining a legal address recognized for a real property based on a received mailing address for the real property. The methods can include accessing, such as from a client device, a legal address record or database. The method can acquire further information regarding the data or real estate transaction while concurrently accessing the legal address record. In the case that an unambiguous match between the mailing address and the legal address record is not found, the method can interactively use the client device to determine the recognized legal address based on ownership data. Some embodiments disclose electronic devices that can implement such methods.

  • Publication number: 20190378158
Abstract: A system and method provide rewards or loyalty incentives to card member customers. The system includes an enrolled card member customer database, an enrolled merchant database, a participating merchant offer database and a registered card processor. The enrolled card member customer database includes transaction accounts of card member customers enrolled in a loyalty incentive program. If the purchase qualifies for a rebate credit, the registered card processor provides the rebate credit to an account of the enrolled card member customer. The registered card processor also provides for electronic notification of rewards offers or credit to prepaid cards, in response to purchases conforming to a specific set of merchant criteria. The system provides a coupon-less way for merchants to provide incentive discounts and/or credits to enrolled customers, along with notifying customers of other available incentive offers.

  • Patent number: 10409927
Abstract: A method and apparatus for producing a design for a system (2) that comprises a plurality of subsystems (4, 6) is provided. Criteria to be satisfied by the system (2) are identified. For each subsystem (4, 6), further criteria that are to be satisfied by that subsystem (4, 6) are determined and a parametric model (8, 16) is then determined. These comprise inputs (10, 18) and outputs (14, 22) that are dependent on the inputs (10, 18). A systems engineering model (100) comprising, as inputs, parametric model inputs (10, 18) is then determined. System model outputs (28) are dependent on the system model inputs. Groups consisting of some of the system model inputs are formed and an optimization process is performed, for each group, to determine inputs that optimize the system model outputs (28). A set of inputs that optimize the system model outputs (28) provides a design for the system.

  • Patent number: 10233896
Abstract: A phase-shift-assisted gravity drive system is provided. The phase-shift-assisted gravity drive system has a series of repeating phase-shift chambers separated by inner baffles, wherein the series of repeating steam chambers define a circular loop about a hub. The phase-shift-assisted gravity drive system with the addition of a heat source is adapted to unidirectionally change steam from one phase-shift chamber to spraying condensation flowing into an adjacent phase-shift chamber. Thereby, the phase-shift-assisted gravity drive system generates force through this unidirectional transfer of the fluid throughout the loop of phase-shift chambers so that the loop rotates about its hub under the further influence of gravity, wherein the hub can be attached to a mechanism for applying rotation force thereto.

  • Publication number: 20190054523
Abstract: A tastable, moldable, and/or extrudable structure using a metallic primary alloy. One or more additives are added to the metallic primary alloy so that in situ galvanically-active reinforcement particles are formed in the melt or on cooling from the melt. The composite contains an optimal composition and morphology to achieve a specific galvanic corrosion rate in the entire composite. The in situ formed galvanically-active particles can be used to enhance mechanical properties of the composite, such as ductility and/or tensile strength. The final casting can also be enhanced by heat treatment, as well as deformation processing such as extrusion, forging, or rolling, to further improve the strength of the final composite over the as-cast material.
