  • Patent number: 12144925
Abstract: Aspects of the technology include methods and systems for performing remote adjustments to a ventilator with a remote device. A remote device may include an interactive display including a remote position indicator. The remote position indicator may be associated or correlated with a local ventilator position indicator. A selection and/or adjustment at the remote device (or an activation at the remote device) at the interactive display may result in a selection, adjustment, or activation at the ventilator. Information may be transmitted to the ventilator from the remote device to remotely adjust the ventilator. Additionally or alternatively, the remote device may additionally display a view of, or replicate, some or all portions of the ventilator display.

  • Patent number: 12147643
Abstract: Method of generating a contextual action bar starts with processor causing an application icon associated with an application to be displayed by a display screen of a client device. Processor receives selection of application icon from a user and determines a context of client device. Context can comprise identification of application, type associated with application, or type of interface including application icon. Processor generates action bar based on the context of the client device, causes a first portion of display screen to display an application interface associated with the application, and causes a second portion to display the action bar that is associated with a messaging system. Other embodiments are also disclosed herein.

  • Patent number: 12149136
Abstract: A method and arrangement is disclosed herein for making a stator with 3D printed end turns. The stator includes a stator lamination stack with semi-closed slots. Straight I-pin wire segments are housed in the slots of the stator lam stack and form the in-slot segments of a stator winding arrangement. The end turns of the winding arrangement are provided by a conductive material that is 3D printed material at both axial ends of the straight I-pins. The end turns result in a winding arrangement with diamond coils that are inter-locked. The 3D printing of the end turns makes the winding arrangement possible, as the winding arrangement is configured such that it cannot be inserted into the lamination stack in a radial direction (i.e., via any slot openings at the inner diameter or outer diameter).

  • Patent number: 12150204
Abstract: User devices can form a spontaneous temporary local network for communications in 5G and 6G, without involvement of a base station. However, each member user device in the local network must have an identification code different from the other member user devices, so that they can communicate specifically with each other. Procedures are provided for each member user device to select an identification code different from the others, and for a newly arriving user device to select its own identification code different from the existing members, and for each member user device to respond to unexpected conflicts between the identification codes of member user devices. Each member user device can thereby transmit messages, such as an emergency collision-avoidance message, to a specific other member device when needed.

  • Patent number: 12147918
Abstract: A flight departure control system comprises a central departure control system and a plurality of local departure control systems arranged at or in proximity of individual airports. Passengers check-in for flights via the central DCS and for each passenger a passenger data message is created and sent to the local DCS to which the flight relates. On detection of a fault condition at the central DCS or in communications with the central DCS, the local DCS assume responsibility for flights departing from the airport at which they are located based on the received passenger data messages and unchecked-in passengers check-in directly with the local DCS.

  • Patent number: 12144330
Abstract: A seine net assembly utilizes buoyant seine net purse rings that float above the leadline and therefore reduce the risk of the purse rings getting snagged on the bottom of the body of water. An exemplary buoyant purse ring may have a specific gravity less than 1.0 and preferably, between 0.08 and 0.96. It is desirable that the purse rings float but not be so buoyant that they cause the leadline and therefore the leadline end of the net to float. An exemplary purse ring is made out of a polymeric material such as polyethylene and most preferably ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). A polymeric purse ring may have a ring wall with a rectangular shape designed for durability and tighter packing. The width of the ring wall may be greater than the thickness.

  • Patent number: 12147392
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to synchronizing files between client devices utilizing different file systems with different filename restrictions. Generally speaking, a server of a cloud-based storage environment can, upon generation of a file or receiving a file from a first client device, detect any “illegal” characters therein, i.e., characters that are predefined by a file system of a second client device of the environment as being impermissible for use in a filename, and substitute a replacement character for those illegal characters. This replacement character can comprise a character that is permissible by the file system of both the first and second client devices, thereby allowing synchronization and access. Additionally, the server(s) can identify the original filename from the first client device and substitute the replacement characters back to the original filename when the file is being accessed by or synchronized with the first client device.

  • Patent number: 12145545
Abstract: An attachment assembly to convert an existing leaf blower into a device for drying vehicles. The attachment assembly includes several interchangeable modular sections, including an adapter section configured to attach to the air outlet of an existing commercial leaf blower. Other sections include air outlet nozzle sections, an extender section, and a weighted section. The inlet side of the nozzle sections, extender section, and weighted section as well as the outlet sides of the adapter section, extender section, and weighted section are uniform so that any of the outlets may be mated with any of the inlets. This allows any configuration of sections desired to be achieved. The adapter section may have a filter placed in the air stream to prevent debris from being blown into the vehicle and damaging the exterior of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 12149295
Abstract: Methods and systems for automated testing of extremely-high frequency devices are disclosed. A device under test (DUT) is set in a simultaneous transmit and receive mode. The DUT receives a lower frequency radio frequency (RF) signal from a test unit and up-converts the lower frequency RF signal to a higher frequency RF signal. The DUT transmits the higher frequency RF signal using a first antenna, and receives the higher frequency RF signal using a second antenna. The DUT down-converts the received higher frequency RF signal to a received test RF signal and provides the received test RF signal to the test unit for comparing measurements derived from the received test signal to a design specification for the DUT.

  • Patent number: 12146774
Abstract: A system for determining particle size of a quantity of a sample material contained in a sample material holder is disclosed, where the sample material is made up a plurality of the particles. The system may incorporate a pressure regulating subsystem for receiving a first pressurized airflow signal and regulating the first pressurized airflow signal to a second pressurized airflow signal having a pressure lower than the first pressurized airflow signal, the second pressurized airflow signal configured to be input to a first end of the sample material holder. A mass airflow transducer may be incorporated for determining a flow rate representing an air flow value entering the sample material holder. A control module uses the air flow value in combination with the pressure differential value and mathematically determining a dimension of the particles making up the sample material.
