  • Publication number: 20240385867
Abstract: A method for multiplexing access of the performance monitoring hardware in different modes includes providing a first mode at one or more guest partitions and providing a second mode at a management partition. Each of one or more guest partitions and the management partition is a virtual machine managed by a hypervisor. The first mode enables a guest partition access to the performance monitoring hardware for a corresponding partition. The second mode enables a management partition access to the performance monitoring hardware for at least one guest partition. The first mode has a first priority, and the second mode has a second priority that is lower than the first priority, such that when the first mode at a particular guest partition is enabled, the corresponding second mode at the management partition is automatically disabled.

  • Publication number: 20240382190
Abstract: A button inserter and system are disclosed that enable easily and effectively deploying a near bone suture button from the button inserter when implementing the suture button technique. To deploy the near bone button, with a far bone button deployed from the button inserter and against the far bone, the button inserter's handle may be translated away from the deployed far bone button. Translating the handle changes a position of a carriage body within a channel of the handle thereby compressing a spring. Protrusions on the carriage body may be forced through notches in the handle, which thereby alters an orientation of the carriage and releases the compressed spring, which applies force to the carriage body. The combination of force induces the carriage to rotate, which thereby releases the near bone button from the carriage. A free end of suture also releases from the carriage.

  • Publication number: 20240384807
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein provide a pilot-operated oscillating valve that uses a battery. The valve is configured such that when a diaphragm is in a closed position, pressure of a fluid supply opens the valve, and when the diaphragm is in an open position, the pressure of the fluid closes the valve. An actuator causes the diaphragm to be arrested selectively in the open position or the closed position. The state of the actuator is switchable with a small expenditure of energy, enabling an extended duty cycle for a battery or other power source associated with the actuator. In some implementations, energy from the oscillating movement of the diaphragm may be captured to recharge the battery for the actuator.

  • Publication number: 20240388093
Abstract: A system for accounting for and allocating energy value amongst (i) energy equivalent quantity (EEQ) suppliers associated with supplier accounts and that contribute EEQ to a total energy supply and (ii) energy consumers associated with a consumer account and that issue energy demands for energy. An energy cloud value allocation system (e-cloud) facilitates and controls an exchange of EEQ and energy between the EEQ suppliers and the energy consumers. The e-cloud receives EEQ contributions from the EEQ suppliers and generates energy credits, where a value of each energy credit is based on the EEQ contribution. The e-cloud is also configured to receive energy demands from the energy consumers and to satisfy the energy demands by delivering energy and EEQ to the consumers. Finally, the e-cloud generates energy debits, where a value of each energy debit is based on the EEQ that is delivered to the energy consumer from the e-cloud in response to energy demands.

  • Publication number: 20240386414
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments may include a system for card authentication. The system may receive, via a user device, a voice request to activate a card associated with a customer account. The system may generate, using a first machine learning model (MLM), a voice fingerprint confidence score based on comparing a first voice in the voice request to a second voice in a stored audio file associated with a customer of the customer account. The system may generate, using a second MLM, a device authentication score based on comparing an address from the user device to a stored address of a known user device associated with the customer account. The system may determine whether the voice request is valid based at least in part on the voice fingerprint confidence score and the device authentication score. The system may activate the card based on the determination that the voice request is valid.
