  • Patent number: 12126400
Abstract: A network unit may be operatively attached to power lines of an interconnected power system and/or a device such as a power module that may further include a communication interface. The network unit may be operable to superimpose a first signal representative of a sensed parameter of the power system onto the power lines, thereby to transmit the first signal to other power modules in the interconnected power system or to a power device in interconnected power system. The network unit may receive a second signal of the parameter superimposed onto the power lines from another network unit.

  • Patent number: 12125139
Abstract: Computer vision systems and methods for generating building models using three-dimensional sensing and augmented reality (AR) techniques are provided. Image frames including images of a structure to be modeled are captured by a camera of a mobile device such as a smart phone, as well as three-dimensional data corresponding to the image frames. An object of interest, such as a structural feature of the building, is detected using both the image frames and the three-dimensional data. An AR icon is determined based upon the type of object detected, and is displayed on the mobile device superimposed on the image frames. The user can manipulate the AR icon to better fit or match the object of interest in the image frames, and can capture the object of interest using a capture icon displayed on the display of the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 12124279
Abstract: A system for determining optimal paths without collision through a travel volume for a swarm of vehicles is disclosed. The system determines a travel path for the swarm leader vehicle using a minimal cost path derived from various measures of environmental cost for avoiding objects in traveling from leader location to target location. The system also determines, for each empty neighbor location of each follower vehicle, relational costs for follower vehicle travel relative to leader vehicle travel. The various measures of relational cost seek to maintain a prescribed positional relationship between each follower vehicle and the leader vehicle given the leader vehicle travel path. Based on various measures of environmental and relational cost, the system determines the best travel path for the each follower vehicle relative to the leader vehicle.

  • Patent number: 12124731
Abstract: A technique is directed to processing metadata changes. The technique involves designating a first tablet to ingest metadata changes and a second tablet to destage previously ingested metadata changes, the first tablet being partitioned into a first reserved space and a first regular space that form a first memory pool, and the second tablet being partitioned into a second reserved space and a second regular space that form a second memory pool. The technique further involves, while the first tablet is designated to ingest metadata changes and the second tablet is designated to destage previously ingested metadata changes, ingesting metadata changes into the first tablet and destaging the previously ingested metadata changes from the second tablet. The technique further involves, when the first tablet becomes full, performing a switch operation that designates the second tablet to ingest metadata changes and the first tablet to destage previously ingested metadata changes.

  • Patent number: 12126498
Abstract: Systems are methods are provided for implementing an intelligent optical transceiver. The intelligent optical transceiver implements dynamic health monitoring and “time to fail” prediction functions to predict a failure of a component before it malfunctions during use. By employing the intelligent optical transceiver, a network can prevent failures in its optical connectivity that can degrade the network performance, such as experiencing outages and data unavailability. For example, the intelligent optical transceiver includes a module health monitor, which monitors, in real-time, health parameters of optical communication components in the intelligent optical transceiver. Also, the intelligent optical transceiver includes a time to fail predictor which predicts a time to fail for the optical communication components of the optical transceiver based on a result of a defined regression function.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to wireless communications, including methods and apparatus for configuring synthetic electronic subscriber identity module (eSIM) profiles for wireless devices based on user credentials. A synthetic eSIM profile is generated at a wireless device based on transformation of user credentials that include a user identity and user cryptographic information. The user identity can include an identifier for a user account, and the user cryptographic information can include a password for the user account. The wireless devices can use the synthetic eSIM profile to obtain and load one or more fully functional eSIM profiles to an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) to without requiring a bootstrap eSIM profile or non-cellular wireless access.

  • Patent number: 12123616
Abstract: A dehumidification system includes a compressor, a primary evaporator, a primary condenser, a secondary evaporator, a secondary condenser, a modulating valve, and a liquid-cooled alternate condenser. The secondary evaporator receives an inlet airflow and outputs a first airflow to the primary evaporator. The primary evaporator receives the first airflow and outputs a second airflow to the secondary condenser. The secondary condenser receives the second airflow and outputs a third airflow to the primary condenser. The primary condenser receives the third airflow and outputs a dehumidified airflow. The compressor receives a flow of refrigerant from the primary evaporator and provides the flow of refrigerant to the modulating valve. The modulating valve directs the flow of refrigerant to the primary condenser and to the alternate condenser. The alternate condenser receives a portion of the flow of refrigerant and transfers heat from the refrigerant to a flow of fluid.
