  • Publication number: 20240399111
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a catheter manipulation handle with user interface controls for steering a catheter in situ while providing an augmented (e.g., motorized, powered and tunable precision steering, and perforation safeguards) control and feedback user experience. In an illustrative example, the catheter manipulation handle may provide motor assisted operation to automatically rotate and/or deflect a distal tip of the catheter to steer and guide the distal tip to a target location in the patient's vasculature system. The augmented feedback may include, for example, haptic feedback via the handle. Haptic, audible, and/or visual feedback via the handle may indicate, for example, proximity or engagement of the distal tip with sensitive tissue. In some examples, the handle's augmented operation may advantageously amplify feedback signals to enhance the user's perception of the patient's safety with respect to the safe passage of the distal tip through the patient's vasculature.

  • Publication number: 20240402500
Abstract: A head-mounted device may have a left display and a right display that provide respective left and right images. Left and right optical combiner systems may be configured to pass real-world light to left and right eye boxes while directing the left and right images respectively to the left and right eye boxes. Misalignment of the left and right images with respect to the left and right eye boxes may be detected using gaze tracking systems, using cameras such as front-facing cameras in conjunction with a database of known real-world object properties, using visual inertial odometry systems formed from cameras and inertial measurement units, or using one or more sensors in a portable head-mounted device case or other item with a receptacle configured to receive a head-mounted device. Compensating adjustments may be made to the images based on the measured misalignment.

  • Publication number: 20240406007
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods are provided for trunk and branch blockchain ledger architecture for validation of real-world claims. Claims may relate to objective claims, such as an individual's work history or whether an organization has insurance coverage. Trunks and branches may be used to implement a network of cross-ledger claims and endorsements. A first entity (e.g., endorser) may make a claim on a first branch blockchain ledger that is controlled by the first entity. A second entity (e.g., endorser) may review the claim, determine whether it is true, and then produce an endorsement on a second blockchain ledger that is controlled by the second entity. The endorsement may be an encoded version of the claim that cannot be used to reverse-engineer the claim. An endorsement pointer may be recorded to the first branch blockchain ledger that references the endorsement recorded by the second entity to the second blockchain ledger.

  • Publication number: 20240400802
Abstract: A polymer composition for producing gel extruded articles is described. The polymer composition contains one or more high density polyethylene polymers combined with one or more olefinic copolymers. In order to form gel extruded articles, the polymer composition is combined with a plasticizer. In one embodiment, the polymer composition is used to form a porous membrane for use as a separator in electronic devices. The presence of the olefinic copolymer can increase the adhesive characteristics of membranes made from the composition when placed in contact with an anode and/or a cathode. When producing porous membranes, the olefin copolymer can also decrease the shutdown temperature and increase wettability properties.
