  • Publication number: 20070034532
Abstract: Systems and methods for distributing a product releasably incorporated within a carrier, and for removing the product and returning the carrier for rehabilitation. In one embodiment, the system includes a first supply loop comprising a manufacturing facility for releasably incorporating a product into a first carrier to form fresh. The first loop further includes transportation means for conveying fresh to a first user, the first user including a fresh storage vessel for receiving and storage of fresh. The first user further comprises means for removing product from the carrier to form spent, and a spent storage vessel for receiving, storing, and dispensing of spent. The loop further includes means for returning the spent to a rehabilitation facility of the spent to form fresh wherein a product is contained in a carrier. The carrier may be in any physical state such as for example, solid, liquid, vapor, plasma, or any combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20060239905
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for distributing a product, like hydrogen, contained in a carrier to a user, and for recovering the spent from the user. In one embodiment, the invention is a system for distributing a product releasably incorporated within a carrier, recovering spent, and conveying spent to a rehabilitation facility. In this embodiment, the system comprises a mobile delivery vehicle, the vehicle comprising a first storage vessel for storing fresh and for dispensing fresh using a connected fresh dispensing apparatus and for receiving and storing spent from a spent dispensing apparatus, the storage vessel further including means for separating fresh from spent. The system further includes fresh, spent, and a first user. The first user comprises a fresh storage vessel for receiving, storing, and dispensing fresh, and further comprises a first spent storage vessel for receiving, storing, and dispensing spent.

  • Publication number: 20060226050
Abstract: Systems and methods for supply and delivery of a product incorporated into a carrier are provided. In one embodiment, the invention comprises a system that comprises a fresh storage vessel for receiving and storing fresh. The system further includes a fresh transferring apparatus communicably linked to the fresh storage vessel for transferring of fresh to a user when the user is connected to the transferring apparatus. The system further includes a spent storage vessel for receiving and storing spent (spent being defined as fresh with at least some product and/or product element removed therefrom), and a spent transferring apparatus communicably linked to the spent storage vessel for transferring spent from a user when the user is connected to the transferring apparatus. Optionally, the system further includes of an intermediate spent storage vessel disposed in the communicable connection between the spent transferring apparatus and the spent storage vessel.

  • Publication number: 20040010717
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a digital verification and protection (“DVP”) system that can be implemented to protect against piracy or unauthorized reproduction of digital content that is delivered from a content provider to an end user of the content. Specifically, the preferred embodiments of the present invention detects the configuration or setup of the viewing or downloading equipment of the end user to determine whether the detected configuration or setup, including hardware and/or software setup, that may be used by the end user to copy or pirate the digital content to be delivered to the end user. Additionally, the present invention may be used by the content provider to require a specific minimum viewing or downloading equipment setup, such as a minimum processor speed, as precondition to accessing or viewing the digital content being requested by the end user.

  • Patent number: 6149136
Abstract: A liquid distributor for a packed liquid-vapor contact column includes a header tank; a liquid distribution plate having vapor riser passages and a multiplicity of discrete reservoir cells each having an aperture for flow of liquid therefrom into the column; and conduits for feeding liquid from the header tank into each cell. The liquid distribution plate preferably has a uniform criss-cross structure with alternating vapor riser passages and reservoir cells of identical shape and size. The conduits may have two or more sections each feeding a discrete group of reservoir cells from a location of the header tank at an elevation spaced from that of the other section(s). The distributor compensates for column sway or tilt when mounted on, for example, a ship.

  • Patent number: 5984282
Abstract: A liquid-vapor contact column is packed with at least one layer formed of a plurality of structured packing sheets orientated to provide liquid-vapor contact in the axial direction of the column and arranged so that, viewed in the axial direction of the column, packing sheets in the body of the layer are in one or more sections in which at least one band surrounds a central core, said band being formed of segments in which the packing sheets in each segment extend rectilinearly in a different direction to those in the adjacent segments in the same band. The packing sheets in the body of the or each layer can be arranged in a plurality of abutting sections or in a single section.

  • Patent number: 5699651
Abstract: A selector assembly for dividing a continuous line of products moving along a processing path is positioned between a product infeed line and packaging machine line. As the line of products enters the selector assembly, the products are engaged by a rotating starwheel which meters the further flow of the products into a product grouping area of the selector assembly. Thereafter, the lugs of upper and lower selector belts selectively engage the line of products to divide the line of products into groups of products for packaging. The selector lugs engage the groups of products at the product infeed speed and thereafter are progressively accelerated to accelerate the groups of products up to the speed of the packaging machine line for transfer of the groups of products to the packaging machine line.
