  • Publication number: 20130325102
Abstract: An absorbable blood vessel stent (100) has a near end and a far end. A tubular patterned structure is formed between the near end and the far end. The patterned structure comprises a plurality of support bars and connection bars (2, 3). The support bar or the connection bar (2, 3) comprises a straight line section, a U-shaped section, or an S-shaped section, and at least one through groove or through hole (5, 6) is provided on at least one support bar. Because of the special structure of the blood vessel stent (100), the performance of an iron blood vessel stent can be improved, and blood vessel stents made of other absorbable materials can be decomposed more rapidly.

  • Patent number: 8366743
Abstract: An occlusion device has a right disc made from a metal mesh having a plurality of openings, and a left disc having at least two skeletons that are covered by a membrane. Each skeleton passes through openings of the metal mesh to interlock the right and left discs, and a coil is wrapped around each opposing end segment of the skeletons. The skeletons can have a looped section where the skeleton is twisted or looped to cross or overlap itself. In addition, each skeleton can be formed from a braided strand of a plurality of wires.

  • Publication number: 20120094143
Abstract: Provided is a method for plating a biocompatible coating with nano structure on the surface of a nickel-titanium shape memory alloy, particularly a method suitable for plating a coating on the surface of medical devices made of nickel-titanium alloy. The method includes the following steps: heat treating, surface pretreating, ion sputter cleaning, depositing a pseudodiffusion layer, plating a sub-layer film, plating a pure TiN layer, and so on. The coating has the following advantages: 1) it could deform in response to the deformation of substrate without delaminating and cracking; 2) it has less resistance to the deformation of substrate; 3) it has less penetrable holes so as to reduce the dissolution of nickel into bio-body through these holes; 4) the coating has better biocompatibility compared to the substrate material.
