  • Patent number: 10609142
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus include computer programs encoded on a computer-readable storage medium, including a system that controls content distribution using a feedback loop. Content is distributed over multiple different online channels using a same initial selection value for distribution over each different online channel. An observed user actions required for distribution of the content over the multiple different online channels is received through a feedback loop and for multiple different distributions of the content. Based on the observed user actions received through the feedback loop, a predicted user action rate is determined for the multiple different distributions across the multiple different online channels. The selection value is adjusted based on a difference between the predicted user action rate and a reference distribution amount specified by a provider of the content. The content is distributed over the multiple different online channels using the adjusted selection value.

  • Patent number: 10521482
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for recommending new connections based on profile similarity and existing interconnections within a social network. One method includes an operation for detecting a request for new connections for a member of the social network, where the profile of the member includes values for certain attributes. Additionally, the method includes operations for identifying members that have at least one equal attribute to the attributes of the member, and for calculating a connection score for each identified member based on the respective values of the identified members attributes. Members are selected from the identified members based on the connection scores, and a ranking score for each selected member is obtained utilizing a machine learning algorithm that utilizes similarity analysis of the attributes to calculate the ranking score. The selected members are presented to the member as the possible new connections based on the ranking scores.

  • Publication number: 20190369695
Abstract: A method and a terminal device are provided for waking up an icon. Upon detection of a first wake event while a display screen of said terminal device is in a Screen-Off mode, the terminal device determines whether a second wake event is detected within a preset time threshold. The display screen is equipped with an under-screen fingerprint recognition circuitry in a fingerprint recognition area. Upon detection of said second wake event within said preset time threshold, the terminal device causes said display screen to switch into a Screen-On mode in which a preset icon is displayed in the fingerprint recognition area. When said second wake event is not detected within said preset time threshold, the said terminal device causes said display screen to switch into an Always on Display mode in which said preset icon is displayed in the fingerprint recognition area.

  • Publication number: 20190123368
Abstract: A fuel cell power controller tracks load current and fuel cell output voltage, and alerts on excessive fuel cell ramp rate, so another power source can supplement the fuel cell and/or the load can be reduced. A power engineering process makes efficient use of available fuel cell power by ramping up power flow rapidly when power is available, while respecting the ramp rate and other power limitations of the fuel cell and safety limitations of the load. Power flow decreases after an alert indicating an electrical output limitation of the fuel cell. Permitted power flow increases in response to a power demand increase (actual or requested) from the load in the absence of the alert. Power flow may increase or decrease in a fixed amount, a proportional amount, or per a sequence. A power controller relay may trip open on a low fuel cell output voltage or high load current.
