  • Patent number: 9557880
Abstract: This disclosure provides various embodiments for providing UI services. An application-independent, reusable UI framework receives a request from a first application, to perform a first operation on a first set of data relating to presentation of the first set of data on a UI. A subset of the first set of data is received from a data provider independent of the UI framework. At least one first service is identified in response, the first service hosted by the UI framework and adapted to perform the first operation on the first set of data. The first operation is performed on the subset of the first set of data using the at least one identified first service to produce a first processed set of data adapted for presentation on a UI of the first application. The first processed set of data is sent to the first application.

  • Publication number: 20140280281
Abstract: A system and method for formatting in a database are disclosed. A request for data in a database is received from an application. The request includes one or more formatting functions to be performed on the data to display a result of the request in a graphical user interface generated by the application. The formatting functions are executed at the database to restructure the request. A query of the data in the database is then generated based on the restructured request, the query including only data to display in the graphical user interface according to the request. Then, a result of the query is returned from the database to the application for display in the graphical user interface.

  • Patent number: 8003690
Abstract: The invention relates to a topical nanoparticulate spironolactone formulation comprising nanoparticles having a mean diameter, measured by a photon correlation spectroscopy, in the range of from about 300 nm to about 900 nm. The nanoparticles are incorporated into a crystalline network system comprising a dispersion of solid crystals of polar lipids, said lipids exposing their hydrophilic side outwards and their hydrophobic side inwards towards the spironolactone nanoparticles.

  • Patent number: 7030718
Abstract: A tuning circuit for adjusting an oscillation frequency of an oscillator circuit. The tuning circuit comprises a film bulk acoustic wave resonator (FBAR) having a series resonance frequency and a parallel resonance frequency, and an inductor coupled in series or parallel with the film bulk acoustic wave resonator. The series connection of the inductor and FBAR decreases the series resonance frequency. The parallel connection of the inductor and the FBAR increases the parallel resonance frequency. The tuning circuit further comprises a varactor coupled in series or parallel with the inductor and the FBAR combination. The varactor tunes the oscillation frequency over the increased tuning range.
