  • Patent number: 11981779
Abstract: A process and a system for depolymerizing plastic, such as waste polyester, into marketable monomers. A heterogeneous mixture of plastic particles, a solvent, and a catalyst are pumped continuously through a heating zone at a flow rate just high enough to maintain a particle speed great enough to keep the plastic particles in suspension. The temperature of the heterogeneous mixture is raised in the heating zone and maintained in a hold zone to complete depolymerization of the mixture into a homogeneous solution containing a liquefied plastic monomer. The homogeneous solution is cooled to solidify and precipitate the monomer. The precipitated monomer is separated from the solvent to be recycled. The solvent is recirculated to be reused as a constituent of the heterogeneous mixture.

  • Patent number: 11553615
Abstract: A system for connecting and monitoring a magnetic operator interface assembly. The assembly can provide protection of an operator interface by limiting glare, UV damage, and exposure to rain. It can also protect the operator interface from high pressure cleaning equipment. The assembly is removably magnetically mountable to a sealed enclosure without breaching the enclosure's seal. The magnetic operator interface assembly can withstand operational forces, staying at a magnetically fixed position and without becoming accidentally detached. It is also easy to intentionally install and remove. The system may include sensors that can inform a local or remote dashboard about the status of the magnetic operator interface assembly, such as whether it is installed and whether the cover is open or closed. The system may also include a locking system to prevent tampering and limit access to the operator interface.

  • Patent number: 11080384
Abstract: An encryption/decryption system to provide a means for user authentication and document authentication using face biometrics. The encryption/decryption system comprises a key storage means for storing a plurality of keys, a face authentication means for determining whether a prospective user of a key in the plurality of keys is the associated user of the key, an encryption/decryption means for encrypting and decrypting data using the plurality of keys when the face authentication means authenticates the prospective user, and a document authentication means that authenticates the user for access to their plurality of keys to digitally sign a document and display the users face used to authenticate access to their plurality of keys in or associated with the document acting as a witness to the signing of the document.

  • Patent number: 10755084
Abstract: Embodiments provide, in at least one aspect, methods and systems that authenticate at least one face in at least one digital image using techniques to mitigate spoofing. For example, methods and systems trigger an image capture device to capture a sequence images of the user performing the sequence of one or more position requests based on the pitch and yaw movements. The methods and systems generate a series of face signatures for the sequence of images of the user performing the sequence of one or more position requests. The methods and systems compare the generated series of face signatures to stored face signatures corresponding to the requested sequence of the one or more position requests.

  • Patent number: 10669774
Abstract: A Roman blind includes a panel having a plurality of battens attached thereto. Each of the battens includes a rear slot, with at least one control band extending along a rear surface of the panel. Raising a lower end of the at least one control band causes the blind to be raised and lowering a lower end of the at least one control band causes the blind to be lowered. One or more band guides are mounted in the rear slot of one or more of the battens. The one or more band guides mounted in the rear slot of a batten that is not a lowermost batten is/are mounted for slidable movement within the rear slot so that the one or more band guides float in the rear slot. The position of the band guides is self-adjusting. Manufacturing of the blind is consequently less complex.
