  • Publication number: 20220004412
Abstract: An interrupt signal is provided to a guest operating system. A bus connected module is operationally connected with a plurality of processors via a bus attachment device. The bus attachment device receives an interrupt signal from the bus connected module with an interrupt target ID identifying one of the processors assigned for use by the guest operating system as a target processor for handling the interrupt signal. The bus attachment device checks whether the target processor is running using a running indicator provided by an interrupt table entry stored in a memory operationally connected with the bus attachment device. If the target processor is running, the bus attachment device forwards the interrupt signal to the target processor for handling. A translation of the interrupt target ID to a logical processor ID of the target processor is used to address the target processor directly.

  • Publication number: 20210396168
Abstract: A combined power conversion and carbon capture and recycling subsystem including a fossil fueled oxidation unit, a physical adsorbent CO2 capture medium, rotor, motor, heater, CO2 compressor, diffuser and water storage tank. Exhaust gas from fossil fuel oxidation is scrubbed of CO2 via passage across a physical adsorbent and then released from the adsorbent via fuel oxidation waste heat. High CO2 concentration scrubber exhaust air is then compressed and fed to a diffuser which facilitates dissociation of the CO2 into water where it is temporarily stored for use in watering plants. Carbon from fossil fuel is recycled back into the environment and permanently stored as biomass by natural means of photosynthesis.

  • Publication number: 20210385117
Abstract: Analysis of signal spectrum within a defined time period is performed by storing a signal sample, providing a displayable representation of the signal, and providing a detailed representation or analysis of a portion of the signal sample. An electromagnetic signal is received and corresponding data is stored. A signature characteristic of the signal is identified by examining general file characteristics, such as RF data and header file information. Time and frequency characteristics of the signal are determined and digital I/Q signal data are processed. A selection of a portion of the received electromagnetic field is identified and vector signal processing is applied to create a second set of similar plots, corresponding to the identified selected portion to provide simultaneous display in two display windows, with the second display window displaying the identified selected portion.

  • Publication number: 20210383321
Abstract: Systems and methods for control of a vehicle fleet system are provided. A disclosed vehicle fleet system includes a dedicated fleet control system for operating a dedicated carrier fleet having dedicated carrier vehicles. The dedicated fleet control system may be in communication with a common carrier control system of a common carrier fleet and may operate to assign various shipments among the dedicated carrier vehicles and the common carrier fleet. In particular, the dedicated fleet control system may selectively assign the one or more shipments to the dedicated fleet or the common carrier fleet based on dedicated carrier constraints and common carrier constraints. The constraints may be based on information received in part from an operator device communicatively coupled to the communication circuitry disposed in the respective vehicle, including an amount time that a driver has been operating the respective vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11111784
Abstract: A system and method is provided that determines at least one bottomhole condition during flowback operations in a well that traverses a hydraulically fractured reservoir. The system and method measure fluid properties of fluids produced at a surface-location of the well during the flowback operations. A transient fluid flow simulator determines composition and properties of fluids in the well between the surface-location of the well and at least one bottomhole-location of the well based on the measured fluid properties. At least one bottomhole condition in the well is determined based on the composition and properties of fluids in the well between the surface-location and at least one bottomhole-location of the well.

  • Publication number: 20210255975
Abstract: An interrupt signal is provided to a guest operating system executed using one or more processors of a plurality of processors. One or more bus connected modules are operationally connected with the plurality of processors via a bus and a bus attachment device. The bus attachment device receives an interrupt signal from one of the bus connected modules with an interrupt target ID identifying one of the processors assigned for use by the guest operating system as a target processor for handling the interrupt signal. The bus attachment device translates the received interrupt target ID to a logical processor ID of the target processor using a mapping table comprised by the bus attachment device and forwards the interrupt signal to the target processor for handling. • Patent number: 11047266
Abstract: A heat exchanger includes a plurality of heat exchange tubes arranged into a first row of tubes and a second row of tubes. A fixed mount fixedly positions the first row of tubes, and a movable mount makes the second row of tubes movable between an aligned position in which tubes in the second row are aligned with tubes in the first row, creating a linear flow path for the fluid through the tubes, and a non-aligned position in which tubes in the second row are not aligned with tubes in the first row, creating a curvilinear flow path for the fluid through the plurality of tubes. Heat is exchanged between the first fluid and a second fluid passing through the plurality of heat exchange tubes. The heat exchanger may be employed as an HRSG in a combined cycle plant, among other applications.
