Abstract: In various examples, optical flow estimate (OFE) quality is improved when employing a hint-based algorithm in multi-level hierarchical motion estimation by using different scan orders at different resolution levels. A scan of an image performed with a scan order may initially leverage OFEs from a previous scan of the image, where the previous scan was performed using a different scan order. The OFEs leveraged from the previous scan are more likely to be of high accuracy until sufficient spatial hints are available to the hint-based algorithm for the scan to reduce the impact of potentially lower quality OFEs resulting from the different scan order of the previous scan.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a groundwater circulation well system with pressure-adjustable hydrodynamic cavitation, including a circulation well body, a sucked and injected water circulation assembly and a hydrodynamic cavitator. The sucked and injected water circulation assembly is based on a water suction and injection pump. The hydrodynamic cavitator is provided, inside a vortex chamber, with a vortex water inlet column capable of changing a water passing aperture. The hydrodynamic cavitator is capable of changing a bubbling pressure and a breaking pressure of hydrodynamic cavitation bubbles in the vortex water inlet column. The hydrodynamic cavitator generates vortices in the circulation well body to accelerate uniform mixing of a remediation agent and the groundwater. Energy from collapsing and bursting of the hydrodynamic cavitation bubbles activates the remediation agent such that contaminants in the groundwater are efficiently degraded.

A radio frequency (RF) profile may be generated based on test signals received by a reference antenna at a plurality of orientations. Abstract: This application describes examples of a direct current combiner box, a photovoltaic power generation system, and a fault detection method. In one example, the direct current combiner box includes a fault detection unit, a protection circuit, and a boost circuit. The fault detection unit detects an operating parameter of the direct current combiner box. The protection circuit sends a protection signal to the boost circuit when the operating parameter meets a specified condition. The protection signal is used to enable the boost circuit to adjust a first voltage of a photovoltaic array at an input end of the direct current combiner box to a second voltage. After receiving the protection signal, the boost circuit adjusts the first voltage of the photovoltaic array at the input end of the direct current combiner box to the second voltage.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a parallel bus-based communication system, the system including: electronic devices; a host controller equipped with a selecting chip and a communication chip, and the communication chip controls at least one channelized parallel bus, and the electronic devices are individually connected to the channelized parallel bus. The host controller, upon first power on, allocates addresses to the electronic device sequentially via the selecting chip. In the present disclosure, the communication chip of the communication system employs a parallel bus communication mode, and the selecting chip sequentially allocates addresses to the electronic device. Communication functions can be achieved by using a small number of communication chips. The electronic devices (sensors) are independent of each other and do not affect one another. The existing sensor structures and vehicle harness may be used, which has cost advantages.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for improving understandability of text by a user. A final word vector for each word in a sentence of a document is computed, such as by averaging a first word vector and a second word vector for that word. Furthermore, elements of a user portrait are vectorized. A distance is then computed between a vector for each word in the sentence and a vectorized element in the user's portrait which is summed to form an evaluation result for the element. An evaluation result is also formed for every other element in the user's portrait by performing such a computation step. A “final evaluation result” is then generated corresponding to the evaluation results for every element in the user's portrait. The document is then transformed in response to the final evaluation result indicating a lack of understanding of the sentence by the user.
