    Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods that search videos and other media content to identify items, objects, faces, or other entities within the media content. Detectors identify objects within media content by, for instance, detecting a predetermined set of visual features corresponding to the objects. Detectors configured to identify an object can be trained using a machine learned model (e.g., a convolutional neural network) as applied to a set of example media content items that include the object. The systems provide user interfaces that allow users to review search results, pinpoint relevant portions of media content items where the identified objects are determined to be present, review detector performance and retrain detectors, providing search result feedback, and/or reviewing video monitoring results and analytics.

The set of channel codes is determined by an adaptive modulation coding controller based on a condition of the link between a transmit channel and a receive channel.

    Abstract: Light output from an LED light source is increased or reduced in response to adjustment of a triac-based dimmer having a triac holding current to maintain conduction of the dimmer. An LED controller to control the light output includes a voltage-controlled impedance to provide an adaptive holding current that causes a triac current of the dimmer to be greater than the triac holding current, particularly when the dimmer is adjusted for significantly low light output (e.g., less than 5%, 2%, or 1% of full power light output). The adaptive holding current also allows for smooth increase of the light output starting from low light output, without perceivable flicker or shimmer. In one example, the voltage-controlled impedance is a resistive-like impedance that is placed on a secondary side of a transformer providing power to the LED light source. In another example, the voltage-controlled impedance is not pulse width modulated.

The connection server disconnects the requesting user from the first virtual desktop, connects the user to the second virtual desktop, and invites the other collaborators to join the session on the second virtual desktop. After accepting the invitation, the collaborators are joined to the second virtual desktop and collaboration resumes on the second virtual desktop.

An antitumor activity study showed that the activity of the class of compounds was not reduced, and even improved. The class of compounds has great prospects for applications in developing an antitumor pharmaceutical product.

An application function, control function, and network entity resource of a CDN are added respectively to an application layer, control layer, and data forwarding layer of an SDN. When a request for a CDN application is received, the SDN application layer generates resource requirement and service scheduling information based on the request, and transmits a reservation request for a resource required by the CDN application to an SDN control layer. The SDN control layer allocates a resource required by the CDN application to combine network load balancing and path policies and to generate a content routing table for data transmission, generating and transmitting L2 and L3 forwarding tables to the SDN data forwarding layer. When it receives content distribution and content delivery requests, the SDN data forwarding layer executes a CDN service-related operation based on the forwarding tables.
