    Abstract: Systems and methods of processing pixel information associated with video image deinterlacing are disclosed. In one exemplary implementation, the method may include performing an edge adaptive interpolation process on a present field so as to determine whether an edge passes through a pixel, wherein the edge adaptive interpolation process provides edge data including a first intensity estimate for the pixel, receiving motion data associated with motion compensation processing, including an estimated motion vector for at least one pixel proximate to the pixel in at least one reference field, determining a second intensity estimate for the pixel as a function of the edge data and the motion data, and performing an intensity-calculation procedure, wherein an interpolated intensity of the pixel is calculated as a function of the first intensity estimate and the second intensity estimate.

    Abstract: An antenna assembly for a mobile wireless communication device has a support with a first surface and a second surface between which a third surface and a fourth surface extend. A conductive ground plane is formed on the second surface. An antenna includes an electrically conductive patch located on the first surface, and first and second electrically conductive legs and an electrically conductive stripe all abutting the patch. In one version the first and second legs and the strip are all on the third surface. In another version the first and second legs are on the third surface and the strip is on the fourth surface that is orthogonal to the third surface. A first signal port is adapted to apply a first signal to the first leg and a second signal port is adapted to apply a second signal to the third leg.

The system uses a statistic server and network browser, and all operations of user are converted into the degree of attention for the web pages. The grade value for the degree of attention is sent to the statistic server as the standard of arrangement for the presentation of content and quality. Another method capable of judging the status of the user automatically and providing the suitable web page is also disclosed.

    Abstract: Described is a system for automatic digital photo orientation detection. We leverage online public photos with great content variation to extract effective features with layout information. Classification proceeds using an approximate nearest neighbors approach which scales well to massive training sets, hardly compromising efficiency. We have tested the method successfully on the largest data set to date of nearly 30,000 Flickr photos as well as both difficult and typical consumer usage scenarios. Though limited data are available for comparison across different systems, the proposed system significantly outperforms a state of the art system on a common data set.

A first signal port is provided for applying a first signal to excite the first antenna and a second signal port is provided for applying a second signal to excite the second antenna.     Abstract: Provided are circuits and methods for driving the synchronous rectifier (SR) of a power converter. A non-linear voltage sense compensator is applied across the drain and source of the SR, and a sense signal is provided to the SR driver sense input, such that false triggering of the SR is effectively eliminated. In addition, the voltage sense compensator ensures that the SR is turned on as soon as its current starts to flow and is turned off when its current falls to zero. The embodiments described herein may be incorporated into new VR designs, or they may be used to improve the SR driving characteristics of commercially available voltage sensing SR drivers.

The terminals arranged exposed into the cavity. The actuator can rotate between an opened position where the flexible printed circuit board can be inserted into the cavity and a closed position where the flexible printed circuit board can be abutted against the terminals. A post protrudes from the bottom wall. The actuator defines a locking beam for locking with the post and a through hole for receiving the post when the actuator is located at the closed position.

The methods typically include admixing a thermoplastic polymer and a matrix material to form a mixture, where the thermoplastic and the matrix are thermodynamically immiscible, followed by extruding the mixture under conditions sufficient to form a microfibrillar composite containing a plurality of the thermoplastic polymer microfibers and/or nanofibers embedded in the matrix material. The microfibers and/or nanofibers are isolated by removing the surrounding matrix. In one embodiment, the microfibrillar composite formed is further extended under conditions sufficient to form a drawn microfibrillar and/or nanofibrillar composite with controlled diameters.
