Abstract: Systems and methods for automating digital file classification are described. The systems and methods include generating a plurality of classifiers from a plurality of first features of a plurality of first digital files, each of the plurality of first digital files having one or more associated annotations. A plurality of second features extracted from a plurality of second digital files is sorted according to the plurality of classifiers. A distance vector is determined between the second features and respective first features for the corresponding ones of the classifiers and the determined distances are ranked. A subset of matched files is selected based on the ranking. The subset of matched files correspond to respective one or more associated annotations. One or more annotations associated with the subset of matched files are associated to subsequently received digital files using the corresponding ones of the classifiers.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for continuing wind turbine operation when normal wind turbine motor control is unavailable due to overheating of one or more wind turbine control motors. Technical effects of the present invention include providing an effective control strategy continuing operation during over-heating of a wind turbine control motor, such as a pitch control motor and a yaw control motor.

Abstract: A method for preparing cracking catalyst. The method comprises making catalyst slurry having a homogeneous distribution of molecular sieve slurry, pseudoboehmite, clay, inorganic acid and aluminum-containing binder; and subsequent spray drying. Inorganic acid is added prior to the addition of pseudoboehmite; addition of molecular sieve is added after the addition of inorganic acid; and a phosphatic dispersant is added during preparation. Compared to conventional methods of preparing FCC catalyst slurry, the inventive catalyst slurry viscosity is decreased and the fluidity thereof is improved, while catalyst anti-friction is maintained. The solid content of the FCC catalyst slurry can be increased to about 40% or more. The gel forming time is significantly reduced with increased productivity and decreased catalyst production cost. Meanwhile, the catalyst has high pore volume and improved micro-reactivity. Overall reactivity performance of the catalyst is also improved.

Abstract: An antenna assembly has a plurality of conductive elements to enable use in multiple frequency bands assigned for a mobile wireless communications. The antenna assembly has a six-sided support frame non-electrically conductive material which provides external surfaces on which specific conductive patterns are formed with the patterns on different surface being selectively connected together. The support frame is mounted on one major surface of a dielectric substrate that has an opposite major surface with a conductive layer that serves as ground plane. A portion of the opposite major surface, on which the conductive layer is not applied, forms one surface of the support frame.

Abstract: An antenna, and an associated methodology, for a portable radio device, such as a mobile station capable of operation at a plurality of frequency bands spread across a wide range of frequencies. The antenna includes a first antenna patch and a second antenna patch. The first antenna patch comprises an L-shaped patch disposed upon a substrate. A second antenna patch forms a folded patch formed of three contiguous portions, folded about fold lines in a manner to cause the second antenna patch to include a first contiguous portion that extends upwardly beyond the first antenna patch at an angle perpendicular thereto. Second and third contiguous portions are formed by folding additional portions of the second antenna patch about additional fold lines.

Abstract: This invention relates generally to the field of nucleic acid analysis. In particular, the invention provides a method for typing a target gene, using, inter alia, a chip comprising a support suitable for use in nucleic acid hybridization having immobilized thereon an oligonucleotide probe complementary to said target nucleotide sequence and at least one of the following oligonucleotide control probes: a positive control probe, a negative control probe, a hybridization control probe and an immobilization control probe. Oligonucleotide probes or probes arrays for typing a HLA target gene are also provided.

Abstract: A multiple-input multiple-output multi-band OFDM transmission system (400) employs a data interleaving arrangement that is backwards compatible with specifications for a legacy interleaver. In one embodiment, an input data stream is parsed into two or more separate data streams by a round robin parser (310) and each of the separate data streams is shifted by a corresponding number of symbols and then interleaved by a legacy interleaver (340i). In another embodiment, data for a plurality (N*i) of symbols is split into N sequential groups of data, each group corresponding to one of N MIMO spatial streams, each stream including data for i symbols. Each group is then interleaved by a legacy interleaver (520i). In a third embodiment, an input data stream is interleaved by a scaled version of the legacy interleaver (610), and then parsed by a round-robin parser (620).

Additionally, an opening is provided opposite a bottom wall, with the bottom wall connecting the first and second sidewalls. The second sidewalls include extensions that extend beyond a height of the first sidewalls, so that an edge of a solar cell panel is sandwiched between the extensions when the junction box is mounted on the edge of the solar cell panel. The BIPV junction box of the present invention may be applied to the connection of BIPV solar cell modules.
