  • Patent number: 8983533
Abstract: A method for enabling a MIMO operation mode in a multimode communication terminal includes switching a first channel module to have parameter characteristics consistent with those of a second channel module, so that the multimode communication terminal enables the MIMO operation mode by using the first channel module and the second channel module at the same time. The method also includes extracting corresponding parameters from the second channel module and configuring the first channel module to be switched with the extracted parameters, such that the first channel module and second channel module enable the multimode communication terminal to perform MIMO communication. The method further includes issuing, upon determination of a switch, notification instructions to means in channel switch layer means and changing a data channel associated with the first channel module, such that the first channel module and second channel module can be adapted to the MIMO operation mode.

  • Patent number: 8877594
Abstract: A CMOS device for reducing a radiation-induced charge collection and a method for fabricating the same. In the CMOS device, a heavily doped charge collection-suppressed region is disposed directly under the source region and the drain region. The region has a doping type opposite that of the source region and the drain region, and has a doping concentration not less than that of the source region and the drain region. The charge collection-suppressed region has a lateral part slightly less than or equal to that of the source region and the drain region, and has a lateral range toward to the channel not exceed the edges of the source region and the drain region. The CMOS device may greatly reduce a range of the funnel that appears under the action of a single particle, so that charges collected instantaneously under a force of an electric field may be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20140318933
Abstract: Disclosed is a handle locking device, including a first frame, a first snap hook and a second frame. A second snap hook is provided on the first frame; the first snap hook is rotatably mounted on the first frame; the second frame is rotatably mounted on the first frame; a protruding portion is formed on the second frame; and the protruding portion can push the first snap hook towards the first frame. By having the first snap hook and second snap hook disposed asymmetrically on the first frame, accidental mounting of the “OFF” position of the handle locking device in the “ON” position of the circuit breaker during installation by an operator can be avoided. Moreover, since the protruding portion can push the first snap hook towards the first frame, forced deformation of the snap claw and second snap hook can be prevented.

  • Publication number: 20140236505
Abstract: A system and method of measuring power consumption in an appliance is provided. An electrical characteristic of a power signal, such as a voltage component and/or a current component, can be detected at the appliance. The detected electrical characteristic can be processed using a signal processor. During signal processing, the detected electrical characteristic can be shifted based on a predetermined threshold and converted to a digital signal. An electrical characteristic offset can be determined based on an average electrical characteristic value of a plurality of detected electrical characteristics. The difference between the electrical characteristic offset value and an instantaneously detected electrical characteristic value can be used to determine power consumption of the appliance.
