    Abstract: A flexible liquid crystal optical shutter and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. A box body filled with a liquid crystal mixture is irradiated with ultraviolet light to form supporting column structures, which increases the bending resistance of the flexible liquid crystal optical shutter, and may improve the mechanical stability of the liquid crystal optical shutter while maintaining the haze of the flexible liquid crystal optical shutter. The manufacturing method is simple. After the manufactured flexible liquid crystal optical shutter is connected to a power supply, the brightness of the liquid crystal optical shutter may be adjusted by changing the magnitude of voltage applied, so that the liquid crystal optical shutter may replace curtains to some extent, solves some limitations of coated glass, and has a good application prospect in vehicle-mounted household glass windows and the like.

    Abstract: Provided is a computer implemented method of determining that two or more members of a subscription group are in close proximity to each other. The method comprises the steps of enabling a mobile electronic device of at least one member of the subscription group to use a short range wireless communication module to detect other mobile electronic devices. In response to detecting, the detecting mobile electronic device receives and stores a unique identifier for each detected other mobile electronic device. A processor compares each stored unique identifier with known unique identifiers of mobile electronic devices of members of said subscription group. As a consequence of the comparing step, the processor determines that two or more members of the subscription group are in close proximity to each other if at least one of the stored unique identifiers matches one of the known unique identifiers of mobile electronic devices of members of the subscription group.

The main body presses on the pressure sensor so that the pressure sensor can measure the pressure from the main body to obtain a pressure signal. The microcontroller analyzes the pressure signal to calculating the total weight of the main body and the servers. The alarm stores a predetermined weight threshold, which is the total weight of the main body and the maximum servers that the main body can bear. The alarm also compares the measured total weight with the predetermined weight threshold. When the measured total weight is larger than the predetermined weight threshold, the alarm alarms.
