  • Patent number: 5532924
Abstract: An attitude control method of a visual sensor (3) utilized for a robot (1), with the object of simplifying the teaching operation for adjusting the attitude of the visual sensor, enabling continual control of sensor attitude, and obtaining highly reliable measuring accuracy of the sensor for detecting positions of objects. The positions of a starting point and an end point on a path of the tool (2) through which the tool moves are taught. The initial attitude data representing the attitude at the starting point of the visual sensor (3) are memorized. The moving attitude data representing the attitude of the visual sensor when the tool moves through the path are periodically sampled and memorized. The attitude of the sensor (3) is controlled so that the attitude of the sensor after sampling the moving attitude data at each sampling time matches the attitude represented by the initial attitude data, based on both the initial attitude data and the moving attitude data.

  • Patent number: 5467003
Abstract: A control method and a control apparatus for a robot, in which an operation line position is detected by a sensor, and real-time tracking of the operation line is performed by correcting a taught path with the use of an output signal from the sensor. The weld line position in a region on the travel direction side is sensed by the sensor supported by a robot hand to obtain the position data of sensed point kSm. After the sensed data is converted into coordinate data s(k, m) of a work coordinate system, processing is performed by using data of taught path segment PkPk+1 to which the sensed point kSm belongs. The processed data is stored in a buffer memory of ring memory type together with the coordinate data of the sensed point. The necessary data is read from the buffer memory just before the execution of tracking, to determine the tracking target point in a short period of time.

  • Patent number: 5233158
Abstract: A control method capable of effecting satisfactory arc welding by automatically controlling arc welding current and voltage. A processor calculates (106, 112) errors (.epsilon.I, .epsilon.V) between mean value (I, V) of actual welding currents and voltages periodically detected a predetermined number of times and target values IO, VO) of the welding current and voltage. If the welding current error falls outside an allowable range, a wire feeding speed correction amount is determined (.DELTA.FW) (109) by substituting the mean value (I) of the welding currents and a welding current correction amount (.DELTA.I) equivalent to the product of the calculated welding current error and a current gain into a calculation formula containing a first-degree polynomial (g'(I)) for the welding current and a welding current change amount (.DELTA.I) as variables. The wire feeding speed correction amount is input to a welding machine.

  • Patent number: 4892242
Abstract: A method and device are provided for separating trimming losses from a sheet having a plurality of products formed thereon with star-shaped scraps between the products. In one embodiment, the sheet is placed on a sheet supporting plate. The sheet is positioned between a blanking plate and a plurality of pushing rods fixed to a mounting plate. Each of the pushing rods has a piercing pin extending from the free end thereof for penetrating into a corresponding star-shaped scrap. The blanking plate has through holes formed therein which correspond to the pushing rods and star-shaped scraps such that the pushing rod passes through a corresponding through hole. The inner diameter of each through hole is smaller than the outer size or greatest dimension of the star-shaped scrap. When the star-shaped scrap is pushed through the through hole by the pushing rod, it deforms and passes through the through hole.

  • Patent number: 4472813
Abstract: In a transmission system of a class IV partial response code succession produced in accordance with a predetermined encoding rule, a transmitter intentionally violates the encoding rule to carry a subsidiary signal, so that an intentional violation appears in a receiver as two consecutive violation signals located in every other time slot, differing from an unintentional violation occurring during transmission. In the transmitter, an intermediate succession from a precoder is monitored by a detection circuit to detect an appearance of each predetermined pattern and to give the intentional violation to the code succession. In the receiver, a violation detector detects both of the intentional and the unintentional violations in accordance with a detecting rule to produce a violation signal sequence. The two consecutive violation signals are distinguished from the violation signal sequence by another detector.

  • Patent number: 4006113
Abstract: A novel coating composition can be obtained by compounding 100 parts by weight of (A) acetylene-conjugated random copolymer having an acetylene unit content of 5-60 mol% and a block character P of 0.8-1.2 and 5-1,000 parts by weight of (B) carbon-carbon double bond-containing compound. The resulting coating composition shows a rapid curing velocity, which has never been seen, and provides an excellent coating film. When the above described composition is added with (C) a curing promoter or a radical initiator, the curing velocity is more increased and when the above described composition is added with (D) a filler or a pigment, excellent coating films suitable for various applications can be formed.

  • Patent number: 3970608
Abstract: An epoxidized acetylene-conjugated diene random copolymer, of which epoxy equivalent is within the range of from 50 to 1,000, is obtained by epoxidizing an acetylene-conjugated diene random copolymer, in which acetylene and conjugated diene are bonded linearly and randomly, the block character P is within the range of from 0.8 to 1.2 and the acetylene content is less than 60 mol%, with an organic peracid. The epoxidized acetylene-conjugated diene random copolymer is more reactive than the crude random copolymer and yields an excellent film, a coating material or a shaped article. Further by adding some of curing agents to the epoxidized acetylene-conjugated diene random copolymer, the cure rate of the epoxidized copolymer is fairly enhanced.
