Patent number: 6968813Abstract: An electromagnetic spool valve includes a spool valve, an electromagnetic actuator, and a bracket. The spool valve includes a cylindrical sleeve and a spool. The cylindrical sleeve includes an input/output ports for fluid to flow through. The spool is axially slidable in the sleeve. The electromagnetic actuator is fixed to the spool valve for axially driving the spool. The bracket is welded to the electromagnetic actuator. The spool valve is disposed in a fixing member and is fixed thereto by a tightening member tightening the bracket welded to the yoke to the fixing member. Either the bracket or the electromagnetic actuator includes a stopper contact portion for contacting a part of the other to prevent the electromagnetic spool valve from being removed from the sleeve insertion hole.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2004Date of Patent: November 29, 2005Assignee: Denso CorporationInventors: Eiji Isobe, Takashi Yamaguchi

Patent number: 6968816Abstract: In an oil flow control valve (OCV) according to the present invention, a first volume varying chamber is adapted to communicate with a second volume varying chamber through a second plunger breathing path, and the second volume varying chamber is adapted to communicate with a first breathing hole through an intra-plunger breathing path, an intra-shaft breathing path, and a third volume varying chamber. That is, the breathing path to the second volume varying chamber is long and the volume thereof is large, and the breathing path to the first volume varying chamber is still longer and larger in its volume. Consequently, the amount of foreign matters getting into the first and second volume varying chambers can be decreased and therefore it is possible to prevent the occurrence of an operation defect of the OCV.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 2004Date of Patent: November 29, 2005Assignee: Denso CorporationInventors: Eiji Isobe, Jiro Kondo

Patent number: 6695284Abstract: An electromagnetic valve apparatus prevents fluid leakage and contains a stationary core having a shape of a bottomed, single-piece cup constructed by combining a housing portion, an attracting portion, a thin-walled portion that joins the housing portion and the attracting portion, and a flange portion. The housing portion has a closed bottom portion, and the attracting portion is adjacent an open end of the stationary core. The housing portion reciprocally supports a movable core. The thin-walled portion is a magnetic resistance portion for preventing leakage of magnetic flux. A magnetic cylindrical attracting member is press-inserted in the inner wall of the attracting portion located on the opened side of the stationary core. The attracting member is arranged face to face with the movable core in the reciprocating path of the movable core. Upon energizing a coil, a magnetic attractive force attracts the movable core to the attracting member.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 2002Date of Patent: February 24, 2004Assignee: Denso CorporationInventors: Eiji Isobe, Isao Hattori

Patent number: 6681806Abstract: A feed position of oil from an oil pump is changed to improve the machinability of an engine cylinder block. A plunger guide is obtained which attains improvement in pump pressure resistance and retention of magnetic efficiency. An oil feed port connected to an oil feed path on the oil pump side is formed in a front end face of a sleeve in an electromagnetic type oil control valve, while a drain port connected to an oil discharge path on a drain side is formed in a side face of the sleeve, whereby an oil feed path formed in the engine cylinder block is positioned coaxially with a mounting hole of the electromagnetic type oil control valve. Further, a bottom wall portion of the plunger guide is curved so that the pump pressure resistance can be improved without increasing the plate thickness of the plunger guide.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 2002Date of Patent: January 27, 2004Assignee: Denso CorporationInventor: Eiji Isobe
