  • Patent number: 11113717
Abstract: Systems and methods provide a customer engagement platform experimentation framework. Experiments are created to determine which variation of a particular promotion (i.e., an experiment) is most effective. Initially, users are split into buckets that define whether a particular user is in a control group or a treatment group for a particular experiment. Users are assigned into buckets differently for unrelated experiments and similarly for related experiments. This ensures the users are in either the control group or the treatment group for all related experiments. Key performance indicators (KPIs) of users that experienced the experiment are compared with KPIs of users that did not experience the experiment. An assessment of the experiment can then be provided based on the compared KPIs.

  • Patent number: 10915711
Abstract: In some examples, a system for executing natural language processing techniques can include a processor to detect text comprising a word and a number. The processor can also embed, via a word embedding model, the word into a first vector of a vector space and embed the number by converting the number into a second vector of the vector space. Additionally, the processor can train a deep neural network to execute instructions based on the first embedded vector of the word and the second embedded vector of the number. Furthermore, the processor can process an instruction based on the trained deep neural network.

  • Patent number: 10888698
Abstract: Apparatus and methodologies for the mitigation and prevention of venous thromboembolism-related disorders resulting from by venous blood stasis. More specifically, repeated cycles of brief bouts of intermittent electrical stimulation are repeated every several minutes to contract at least one target muscle, causing a temporary increase in venous blood flow and blood velocity in the veins in the region of the target muscle(s). The present intermittent electrical stimulation paradigm may be used to mimic physiological responses following voluntary contraction of the target muscle(s), without fatiguing the muscle(s).

  • Publication number: 20200381312
Abstract: A method of determining overlay (“OVL”) in a pattern in a semiconductor wafer manufacturing process comprises capturing images from a cell in a metrology target formed in at least two different layers in the wafer with parts of the target offset in opposing directions with respect to corresponding parts in a different layer. The images may be captured using radiation of multiple different wavelengths, each image including +1 and ?1 diffraction patterns. A first and second differential signal may be determined for respective pixels in each image by subtracting opposing pixels from the +1 and ?1 diffraction orders for each of the multiple wavelengths. An OVL for the respective pixels may be determined based on analyzing the differential signals from multiple wavelengths simultaneously. Then an OVL for the pattern may be determined as a weighted average of the OVL of the respective pixels.

  • Patent number: 10743790
Abstract: A method and system for determining the subjective state of mind of a human subject presented with a test audible or visual stimulus. An an electroencephalogram (EEG) recording unit is connected to the human subject, recording the subject's EEG when presented with one or more test stimuli. The recorded EEG signal is then transformed to a 3-D map in order to visualize the brain areas that were active when presenting the test stimuli. • Patent number: 10732896
Abstract: A method and apparatus for optimizing read operations during a control sync operation on a data storage device are disclosed. The data storage device contains a management table used for mapping memory addresses to a non-volatile memory. A control sync operation makes a copy of the management table to the non-volatile memory. The control sync operation is non-blocking—the sync operation allows read and write operations in parallel with making a copy of or updating the management table. During the control sync operation, the read operations are optimized through a CUQ and an overlap range table. The CUQ may act as a temporary management table while also containing updates to be consolidated to the management table. The overlap range table is used to allow skipping searches within the CUQ by identifying then mapping entries that reside within CUQ.
