Abstract: A method for reducing echo includes detecting whether an output sound volume is greater than a threshold value, and setting an input sensitivity from a first designated sensitivity value to a second designated sensitivity value when the output sound volume is detected to be greater than the threshold value. The method further includes detecting whether an interrupt signal is received, determining whether the interrupt signal is triggered by detecting that the output sound volume is greater than the threshold value when receiving the interrupt signal, detecting whether the input sensitivity is the second designated sensitivity value when determining that the interrupt signal is triggered by detecting that the output sound volume is greater than the threshold value, and setting the input sensitivity as the second designated sensitivity value when detecting that the input sensitivity is not the second designated sensitivity value.

Abstract: A vehicle key system is provided. The vehicle key system comprises a vehicle computer system for a vehicle and a monolithic key structure. The monolithic key structure comprises a key portion coupled to the vehicle and a body portion electrically coupled to the vehicle computer system. The body portion comprises an image capturing unit capturing a biological feature and an image transmitting unit electrically coupled to the image capturing unit for transmitting the captured biological feature to the vehicle computer system.

Abstract: A method for receiving alarm warnings with a mobile communication device, comprising the steps of: storing a district-warning radio frequency contrast table in the mobile communication device, wherein the district-warning radio frequency contrast table records a relationship between a plurality of districts and a plurality of warning radio frequencies for broadcasting the audio warning messages corresponding to one of the plurality of districts; finding a first warning radio frequency corresponding to the first district of a user location in the district-warning radio frequency contrast table, wherein the user carries the mobile communication device, the first district is one of the plurality of districts, and the first warning radio frequency is one of the plurality of warning radio frequency; and receiving a radio signal according to the first warning radio frequency and demodulating the radio signal to obtain a first audio warning message corresponding to the first district.

Abstract: A drive circuit for a hair clipper comprises an electric motor and a control circuit for operating the motor at a constant speed regardless of load conditions. The control circuit has detector means for sensing the supply voltage to the clipper and the clipper current, processor means for generating an error signal indicative of a change in supply voltage needed to maintain a constant motor speed and driver means responsive to the error signal for adjusting the supply voltage to the motor to maintain the speed constant.

Abstract: A system for allowing interaction between individuals in an establishment and individuals remote from establishment is disclosed. The system has a server for transferring graphical and textual data to and from the establishment. A plurality of customer terminals are located in the establishment and coupled to the server. The customer terminals are used for ordering items in the establishment and for interacting with others in and remote from the establishment. At least one employee terminal is coupled to the server. The employee terminal is used for displaying items ordered by individuals in the establishment. This will allow employees to provide faster service to individuals in the establishment. A plurality of establishment video cameras are coupled to the server. The video cameras are used for transmitting graphical images from inside the establishment.

Abstract: Rumble strips slow down the speed of tires that are crossing the rumble strips that the vehicle tends to turn its direction toward the shoulder. Also, a component of the reaction force from the rumble strips pushes the vehicle further away from its normal path. These two effects cause potential danger to the driver. The current invention shows a rumble strips apparatus that are capable of providing a guiding force to guide the vehicle back to its normal path and in the mean time, providing vibration as conventional rumble strips do.
