  • Publication number: 20260077687
Abstract: A system for controlling the position of a vehicle seat is disclosed. The system includes in network communication, an input device, a detection system, at least one controller, and at least one controllable device. The detection system measures a current value of at least one of the recline, fore-aft, or swivel position of the seat. The input device communicates to the controllers a desired value for at least one of these seat positions. The controller compares the measured value to a limiting value and the desired value and calculates a movement factor value. The movement factor value determines the communication between the controller and the controllable device. If the movement factor value falls into a range where the seat can be moved to the desired value, the controller signals the at least one controllable device to control the adjustment of at least one of the recline position, the fore-aft position, or the swivel position to the desired value.

  • Publication number: 20260015164
Abstract: A refuse collection vehicle having a packer system, a hopper, and a storage compartment. A wall between the storage compartment and the hopper defines an opening that allows refuse to pass from the hopper to the storage compartment. The packer system includes an auger screw and a driver. The driver rotates the auger screw such that refuse is packed into the storage compartment through the opening. A door can be positioned to cover the opening in the wall to inhibit refuse from passing back through the opening. A door actuator system moves the door to selectively open and close the door on the opening. A packing actuator can push an ejector panel across the floor of the storage compartment while the door is closed on the opening in the wall to further compact refuse in the storage compartment or to eject refuse from the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20250058969
Abstract: A refuse vehicle has a Commercial and a Residential Mode whereby when in Commercial Mode, stops or fins, utilized in Residential Mode to assist in securing a residential container laterally at the front of the vehicle, are adjustable to prevent contact or interference with the cab protector or other portions of the vehicle when in Commercial Mode. The fins may be located and/or rotated, such as at least 30 degrees (from position to position) or above a horizontal or otherwise intermediate the residential and commercial configurations. The fins may preferably be located above a bottom of the crossbar when moving through the dumping cycle so as not to contact the cab protector in Commercial Mode. Preferably, the fins may also be housed on the residential refuse container rather than along the crossbar.

  • Patent number: 11951688
Abstract: A generator injection tool is provided. The generator injection tool injects an adhesive into a generator that includes a rotor positioned within a stator having a stator vent, the stator and rotor having a gap therebetween. The generator injection tool includes a first carriage sized to fit within the gap, a tube, a first motor, a controller, and an adhesive source. An end of the tube is movable between a first position in which the end is outside of the stator vent and a second position within the stator vent. The first motor is operable to move the tube between the first position and the second position. The controller is operable to selectively activate the first motor to position the end of the tube within the stator vent. The adhesive source moves the adhesive through the tube end to inject a portion of the adhesive into the stator vent.

  • Publication number: 20230311718
Abstract: A system for controlling the position of a vehicle seat is disclosed. The system includes a component position detection device, a seat and component adjustment controller and at least one controllable actuator in network communication. The measured value of the absence of a seat operator is communicated to the seat and component adjustment controller as is the current value of at least one of the fore-aft position or height position of the seat. The seat and component adjustment controller compares the measured value of the absence of a seat operator to a set value to determine if an operator is present. If an operator is not present based on this comparison, the seat and position controller calculates a movement factor value wherein the movement factor value determines the communication between the seat and component adjustment controller and the at least one controllable actuator.
