  • Patent number: 10734736
Abstract: A switchable dual polarization patch antenna with improved cross polarization isolation to concurrently radiate horizontally polarized signals and vertically polarized signals. A planar conductor is arranged with a first terminal and a second terminal that are vertically spaced on a portion of the planar conductor to radiate a component of a vertically polarized signal with zero degrees of phase shift from one of the two terminals and radiate another component of the vertically polarized signal having a 180 degrees of phase shift from the other of the two terminals. A hybrid coupler can provide the 180 degrees of phase shift. A horizontally polarized signal is radiated from a third terminal that is horizontally spaced on another portion of the planar conductor and coupled to a horizontally polarized signal source. The direction of the 180 phase shift for the first and second components of the vertically polarized signal may be selected.

  • Patent number: 10693968
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for binding service credentials to an application. One example system receives a service bind request for an application in a cloud application platform. The service bind request includes a request to bind a service provided by a service host in the cloud application platform. The service bind request specifies (i) an identifier for the service and (ii) a unique identifier for the application. The system receives, from the service host, credentials for the application to access the service. The system provides the credentials to a secure credential hub installed on the cloud application platform. The secure credential hub stores the credentials in association with a credential location identifier. The system grants, to the unique identifier for the application, read access to the credential location identifier. The system stores the credential location identifier as application metadata for the application.

  • Patent number: 10688611
Abstract: A system and method for using a robotic arm and a part gripping jaw to tend a CNC machine. A robotic arm picks up a part gripping jaw and used the jaw to grip a part, and moves the part into a vise in the CNC machine. The part gripping jaw has features which the vise engages, and secures the part in the part gripping jaw for processing in the CNC machine. The system and method includes a novel racking system, robotic end of arm tool, jaw grippers and vise system. The jaw grippers that hold the part are moved from the rack system, with the part to be processed, by the robot, to the vise where the vise uses the jaw grippers to secure the part for processing. After the part is processed, the robot removes the part from the vise with the jaw grippers and stores the part back into the rack system using the jaw grippers.

  • Publication number: 20200153374
Abstract: A method of determining angular position (?) of a rotor of an N-phase permanent magnet motor (PMM). A processor having an associated stored angular position determination (APD) algorithm is programmed to implement the algorithm to cause an associated motor controller to execute steps including forcing one vector at a time a phase vector set of current or voltage vectors to stator terminals of windings for the N-phases a positive and negative magnitude vector, wherein the vector magnitude is sufficiently small to not move the rotor, and a time duration for the forcing current or voltage vectors is essentially constant. The resulting stator current or voltage levels are measured for each current or voltage vector. An N-dimension current vector or voltage vector is generated from superposition of the resulting stator current levels or resulting stator voltage levels. The N-dimension current vector or voltage vector is used to determine angular position.
