Abstract: Systems and methods for evaluating and transmitting combined external data from one or more assets are described herein. An example method may include collecting, by a data processing device communicatively coupled to a central data portal, sensor data from one or more assets, processing, by the data processing device, the sensor data to evaluate status data concerning status of the one or more assets, transmitting, by the data processing device, the status data to the central data portal, and storing and visualizing, by the central data portal, the status data. The data processing device can be co-located with one of the assets. The assets may be selected from a building, a room, outdoor location, a vehicle, a person, an indoor location, and an outdoor location.

Abstract: An occlusion clip is disclosed herein. The occlusion clip comprises a resilient base strip including a plurality of base strip segments defining a hexagonal profile that represents an open state of the occlusion clip. A plurality of housing segments is provided on each of the base strip segments. A core element is disposed and extends within the housing segments defining a half of the hexagonal profile, wherein the core element is configured for linear movement within the housing segments. An actuator cable extends from each of the core elements, wherein in an actuated state, the core element is pulled via the actuator cable, and the pulling facilitates relative movement between the housing segments and the core elements causing the core element to make the housing segments collinear, thereby defining a closed configuration of the occlusion clip.

Abstract: A system and method for efficiently designing a through silicon via (TSV) macro blocks are described. In various implementations, the circuitry of a processor executes instructions of a place and route tool that provides automatic placement of macro blocks and standard cells on an integrated circuit die based on a copy of a netlist of the integrated circuit being designed and a copy of a standard cell library that includes a variety of standard cells and macro blocks. The processor places two functional macros in the floorplan with a channel between them. In the channel, the processor places a TSV macro that includes at least one boundary cell inside of the TSV macro. The processor prevents placement of a boundary cell adjacent to at least one side of the TSV macro despite empty space exists due to no standard cells or macros about the at least one side.

Abstract: A safety interlock system includes a safety harness comprising a plurality of buckles to secure the harness to a user and a safety attachment ring. A fall-arrest belt clip is configured to be releasably attached to the safety attachment ring, the fall-arrest belt clip attached to a fall-arrest tether of a machine. The system further includes a safety interlock means for disabling an operation of the machine when the fall-arrest clip is detached from the safety attachment ring, the machine coupled to the fall-arrest tether.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an insulated mail slot device with at least one mail slot, at least one hinge, and at least one door with at least one insulation piece. The mail slot can be secured within an opening of a door or structure and wherein the door attaches to the mail slot via at least one hinge. The body of the door is filled with an insulating material. In addition, the mail slot may be comprised of a rubber gasket or padding that eliminates space between the door and the mail slot.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a multiple-compartment mailbox device primarily comprised of a body, further comprised of at least one lid with at least one hinge, at least one interior space, and at least one divider wall. The device may be comprised of two interior spaces. One for outgoing mail and packages, and one for incoming mail and packages. In one embodiment, both compartments have mail lids. In a different embodiment, only the incoming mail compartment has a mail lid. The device may be comprised of at least one motion sensor, at least one transmitter, and at least one battery. The motion sensors detect when mail has been delivered or received by the postal worker, and electrically communicates with the mobile application via the transmitter, thus providing a notification on the user's smart device. The mobile application allows a user to know precisely when their mail was delivered.

Moving the first rigid link relative to the second rigid link, and vice versa, causes the first and second transfer links to correspondingly move and thereby open or close the jaws.

Abstract: An ergonomic medical device handle which allows for multiple type grip styles and reduces operator fatigue by balancing the weight of the device about a fulcrum point. More particularly a laparoscopic suction irrigation device having its tubing centrally located to allow the handle to rest comfortably and balanced on the hand in any of the commonly used grips. This dramatically reduces the fatigue associated with holding devices for long periods of time.

Abstract: A system for controlling a temperature a within an interior volume of a cargo trailer adapted to transport perishable goods is described herein. The system includes a fluid distribution assembly and a monitoring system. The fluid distribution assembly is configured to selectively channel a flow of cryogenic cooling fluid into the cargo trailer interior volume to facilitate adjusting a temperature within the interior volume. The monitoring system includes at least one sensor for sensing an environmental parameter of the cargo trailer, and a controller coupled to the sensor and to the fluid distribution assembly. The controller is configured to receive a monitoring signal indicative of the sensed environmental parameter, determine an environmental condition of the cargo trailer as a function of the environmental parameter, and provide a notification signal if the determined environmental condition is different than a predefined environmental condition.
