  • Publication number: 20180084033
Abstract: A first reverse proxy appliance of the plurality of reverse proxy appliances receives an incoming transaction. A machine logic determines that the incoming transaction cannot be directly processed by the first reverse proxy appliance based, at least in part, upon the current threshold level of the first reverse proxy appliance and the current transaction count of the first reverse proxy appliance. Responsive to the determination that the incoming transaction cannot be directly processed by the first reverse proxy appliance, a second reverse proxy appliance of the plurality of reverse proxy appliances and a third reverse proxy appliance of the plurality of reverse proxy appliances negotiate in order to determine that the third reverse proxy appliance will process the incoming transaction. Responsive to the negotiating, the incoming transaction is sent to the third reverse proxy appliance.

  • Patent number: 9882967
Abstract: A processor-implemented method and/or computer program product negotiates the processing of incoming transactions based on resource utilization status of backend systems in an appliance cluster. An incoming transaction, which is a specialized function for an appliance, is received by a processor. The processor determines whether the incoming transaction can be processed by the appliance cluster based on a current threshold level and a current transaction count, and then identifies a target appliance from the appliance cluster as a negotiation device in response to determining that the incoming transaction cannot be processed.

  • Patent number: 9350403
Abstract: A receiver includes a control module, a data receiving circuit and a masking circuit. The control circuit generates an enable signal according to a pair of differential signals provided by a transmitter. Triggered by the enable signal, the data receiving circuits generates an output signal according to the differential signals, and the masking circuit starts masking the output signal. After generating the enable signal, the control module starts providing a bias voltage to the differential signals such that the output signal has a first state. The transmitter adjusts the differential signals to render the output signal to enter a second state from the first state. Upon detecting the output signal having entered the second state, the control module stops providing the bias voltage and generates a disable signal to prompt the masking circuit to stop masking the output signal.

  • Patent number: 8066003
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for improving control and detection precision of tidal volume by introducing R value, comprising the steps of: a plateau pressure Pplate is used to calculate a system compliance C with C=?V/(Pplate?PEEP); VT, the tidal volume obtained currently at patient terminal, is calculated with VT=?V×(C?Ctube)/C, wherein ?V is the variation of tidal volume, PEEP is the positive end expiratory pressure and Ctube is the compliance C of the line. Depending on the calculated VT, the tidal volume which is actually obtained by the patients during this period, the processing unit calculates the tidal volume VT?, which the airway is intended to reach during the next expiration period, by VT?=VT+?VT×K wherein K is a scaling factor for control and adjustment, VT is the tidal volume obtained by the patient during the current period, VTset is the presetted tidal volume, ?VT=VTset?VT.
