  • Publication number: 20110012137
Abstract: A structure of light-emitting diode (LED) dies having an AC loop (a structure of AC LED dies), which is formed with at least one unit of AC LED micro-dies disposed on a chip. The unit of AC LED micro-dies comprises two LED micro-dies arranged in mutually reverse orientations and connected with each other in parallel, to which an AC power supply may be applied so that the LED unit may continuously emit light in response to a positive-half wave voltage and a negative-half wave voltage in the AC power supply. Since each AC LED micro-die is operated forwardly, the structure of AC LED dies also provides protection from electrical static charge (ESD) and may operate under a high voltage.

  • Publication number: 20100327872
Abstract: A life test device comprises an oven, a current source, a voltage meter, a control module, and a process module. A light-emitting diode (LED) is disposed in the oven. The temperature of the oven is gradually changed in a first period and remains at a set temperature in a second period. The current source provides a first current and a second current to the LED. The voltage meter measures forward voltages of the LED. The control module controls the current source to output the first or second current to the LED and controls the voltage meter to measure the forward voltages of the LED. The process module calculates a junction temperature of the LED according to the forward voltages and a variation relationship formula between the forward voltages and the temperature of the oven.

  • Publication number: 20090165798
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for improving control and detection precision of tidal volume by introducing R value, comprising the steps of: a plateau pressure Pplate is used to calculate a system compliance C with C=?V/(Pplate?PEEP); VT, the tidal volume obtained currently at patient terminal, is calculated with VT=?V×(C?Ctube)/C, wherein ?V is the variation of tidal volume, PEEP is the positive end expiratory pressure and Ctube is the compliance C of the line. Depending on the calculated VT, the tidal volume which is actually obtained by the patients during this period, the processing unit calculates the tidal volume VT?, which the airway is intended to reach during the next expiration period, by VT?=VT+?VT×K wherein K is a scaling factor for control and adjustment, VT is the tidal volume obtained by the patient during the current period, VTset is the presetted tidal volume, ?VT=VTset?VT.

  • Publication number: 20080129059
Abstract: An LC oscillation-based magnetic lock is described, which mainly includes an electromagnet set having an E-type iron core and a magnetic field generating coil set, and an armature plate. The electromagnet set and the armature plate are installed on a door panel and a door jamb, respectively. By means of the attractive or repelling force between the aforementioned each other, and by controlling the magnetism of the electromagnet set, the door panel is caused to be opened or closed. The LC oscillation-based circuit being a coil set disposed nearby the magnetic field generating coil set and oscillating in an oscillation frequency when an inductance variation has occurred, the oscillation frequency is then corresponded to the inductance variation; and a control circuit is to determine an open/close state of the door panel according to the oscillation frequency calculated.

  • Publication number: 20070046040
Abstract: An electronic lock includes a housing, a solenoid, a lock bar, a solenoid cover, and a faceplate. The solenoid is received in and mounted to the housing and the solenoid has a retractable rod being spring biased to a first position when the solenoid is not energized and magnetically moved to a second position when the solenoid is energized. The lock bar is pivotably mounted to a pivot pin, and the pivot pin is mounted with a spring member and fixed to two ends of the housing. The solenoid cover is covered on the solenoid and the faceplate is mounted to the housing. The solenoid cover and the faceplate define a latch bolt cavity. When the solenoid is energized, the retractable rod is withdrawn to the second position, so that the lock bar can be transversely rotated, thereby detaching from a latch bolt and allowing a door to be opened.

  • Publication number: 20070025045
Abstract: A demagnetizable electromagnetic door lock is actuated by generating or degenerating magnetic force of an electromagnetic coil. A magnetic field direction driving circuit is electrically connected to the electromagnetic coil. Under the control of a controller, after the magnetic field direction driving circuit is applied to eliminate the residual magnetic force of the electromagnetic coil, the door lock can work smoothly in due course.

  • Patent number: 7046840
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating three-dimensional models of an object use images having unmeasured camera parameters. Camera calibration determines the perspective of the camera from the content of the images. A background having a pattern with a known marks in each image can facilitate determination of the camera parameters. One background pattern includes separated marks having rectangular sections where corners of the rectangular sections provide calibrations points for the camera parameters. The camera parameters can also be determined by matching features of the object in different images and determining differences in perspective from differences in the appearance of the matched features in different images. A combination of projective and metric reconstructions provides robust reconstruction.

  • Publication number: 20050259180
Abstract: An electronic device with a multi-axis turning function has a main body, a rotation member, a display, an operation portion, a first pivot, a second pivot and a third pivot. The main body has a lens positioned on an end thereof and a first axis co-axial with the lens. The rotation member is connected to the main body and has a second axis. The rotation member is rotatable through the first pivot. The display is rotatable through the second pivot. The main body and the operation portion are inter-rotatable through the third pivot. The electronic device with a multi-axis turning function of the present invention is rotatable freely with random angles, overcomes the traditional shortcoming that the display must be positioned on one sidewall of the main body of the electronic device and facilitates a handheld, self-recording function.

  • Publication number: 20020085379
Abstract: The invention is a surface light source generator that can provide surface light with a high luminosity and uniformity and a small dispersion angle. The invention uses the light emitting diodes (LEDs) for industrial standard light bulb packaging as its basis. By redesigning the shape of the LED elements (e.g., hexagonal pillars, quadrangle pillars or triangular pillars) and disposing a plurality of same type LEDs together, a surface type illuminator comprised of many closely packed LED elements is formed. Using the convergent effect of the convex lens on top of the LED elements, the light dispersion angle is controlled within 15 degrees. Such a technique of packing many LED elements together can increase the unit area luminosity of the surface light source generator and, at the same time, achieve a high luminosity and uniformity.
