The tracking and mapping system utilizes an infrared camera for automatic roller path tracking and mapping in pavement construction. The tracking and mapping data associated with the movement of the roller vehicle during compaction of the surface can be generated and visually represented in a user interface accessible to the operator of the roller vehicle. Based on the tracking and mapping data that is generated in real-time and presented to the operator in the user interface, the operator can make adjustments to the roller vehicle and path, as necessary.

    Abstract: Solid-state circuit breakers (SSCBs) have been witnessing an impressive progress with the aid of wide bandgap (WBG) devices such as silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFETs. Along with obtaining high efficiency as the result of low on-state resistance, response times have been gaining remarkable achievements in microseconds range. Not only that, the reported successes in control and gate drivers design and incorporating fault detection/location techniques in SSCBs are promising. A MOV-resistive capacitive switch (MOV-RCS) snubber for solid state circuit breakers addresses the following: 1) the MOV degradation issue in DCCBs is solved, 2) the maximum allowable DC bus voltage on DCCBs is extended. The solid state circuit breaker and an active clamping snubber includes a first circuit including a fault current bypass based solid state breaker for low voltage direct current systems.

    Abstract: A quasi-solid-state battery formed from non-gas evolving in-situ curing of a quasi-solid-state electrolyte that includes a high swelling polymer made from a monomer with good compatibility with liquid electrolytes, and has a good reactivity for facile non-gas evolving in-situ polymerization. The monomer can be based on acrylate polymerization chemistry or an allyl group polymerization chemistry. Non-gas evolving initiators are used for non-gas evolving in-situ polymerization of acrylate or allyl monomer-based QSE. The resulting QSE additionally has high ionic conductivity, allowing for a high battery output, and a wide electrochemical window (stable for lithium metal anode and high-voltage cathodes). The resulting quasi solid electrolyte battery is not only easy to fabricate using conventional battery manufacturing practices, the non-gas evolving in-situ polymerization causes the QSE to be uniformly distributed within the battery, ensuring high-quality, safe battery performance and longevity.

The structure of the PROTAC compound can be represented by general formula LGP-LK-LGE, wherein LGP is a ligand for binding a deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) polymerase; LGE is a ligand for binding an E3 ubiquitin ligase; and LK is a linker linking the two above ligands. The compound prevents virus replication and kills viruses by means of degrading a deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) polymerase that inhibits the viruses, and thus performs the function of treating and intervening in viral infectious diseases such as hepatitis B and secondary diseases, and the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome.
